I like to think the hunters may be advanced like fallen empires (unlike people who think they are like gigastructure crisis level) but just are far far older and have more numbers than stars in the galaxy
I love the hunters and I so desperately want to know more but their mystery makes them so fascinating

I like to think that the hunters are a normal civilization which the scourge f'd around with, and then the scourge found out. Now the hunters are trying making sure the scourge won't do the same to other civilizations by eliminating them.

That would be interesting as anything. But then the question becomes if we defeat a hunter, what would happen next.
Givin that the Scourge is like a virus, I imagine the "Hunters" would be like white blood cells, macrophages and anti-bodies.
I hope this is true. I love it when the creators throw in these easter eggs for those willing to put in the effort to look.

You know I just thought what if the enigmatic ship that sometimes spawns and scans different planets of different empires and then offers genetic manipulation if they're considered weak was built by the hunters, because it does say in the report that it comes from another galaxy, what if its collecting genetic data from species of extragalactic empires and sending it back? A long shot but still interesting.

i honestly kinda hope that we eventually figure out more about the hunters, atleast a little more information on them, however i would also be fine with them just being an illusive mystery. fun to ponder over
I wonder what effect an adult Voidspawn could have on a galaxy, considering that a hatchling uses and entire planet as an egg. Assuming they have a "normal" growth cycle, of course.

Idk if I want them to reveal the hunters or actually make them an empire or crisis you can fight. I fear that they wont match up to the hype
