Good afternoon @everyone and here it is! The past few weeks have been in some ways a breath of fresh air and in others a reminder of how far Star Trek Fleet Command has to go to return to a place where players are having fun with each new experience. This month brought a lot more quantity (PVP Arenas, Syndicate Expansion, etc.), but did it provide more treats than tricks? Let’s find out together!

Event store was certainly better than the last few, but still not as good as it has been. Managed to get the FC slot + NX unlock on my F2P alt account.
Arena is an absolute disgrace though. I dont think I've ever seen a PVP event in any game which tailors to spenders as much as this.
The arena isn’t that good. Major lag issues, I can barely participate because I’m way higher lvl than most of my alliance. (I’m not changing alliances for 1 mechanic)
Whats the point of saying i dont know you tell me 30 times in a video thats supposed to be your opinion on this topic. Just say what you thought thats literally why we are watching.
Not thrilled. Still so many bugs. Way too much content. Can't get through it. I don't want to play this game for 5 hours a day. AND STOP MAKING ME WATCH THE VIDEOS, every time I have to reset the game. I have never watched, nor will I, the videos

I think the highlight for me was that the Event Store included a way to catch up on Fleet Commanders. I thought that was uncharacteristically generous of Scopely. I am way behind in Waves so being able to unlock Sloan was extremely valuable. Was able to unlock Dane and also spend the remainder on getting half of FC Janeway.
Arenas for me has the same problem as Waves. When I have the time to devote to a wave, nobody else is around. But most of all I simply don't have time to invest any time in the Arena.
Regarding arena I have mixed results. When I get on directly when it starts the matches are better paired, but when I start arena late the matches are extremely unfairly matched.
Scopely….PLEASE get rid of negative rep!! It’s ridiculous.
I'm here to chew bubblegum and request the ability to scrap any ship that I have…and I'm all out of bubblegum…

The event stores are meant to be a catch up mechanic. They add so much crap to the game, it is impossible to actually catch up with just the event store. And so much stuff is missing and we can never get now. Even if that thing is literally years old. 600k event store currency should be the minimum. And there should be a universal event currency so people can save from event store to event store to get things they want/need.
However, these are all objectively good things for the player base, so Scopely will never do them.

Arena Combat sucks. The only way to win is kick out anyone who is lower level and lower power than you.
As a 6* player I found the event store to be lacking on anything I cared about past the FC slot as I missed it last time.
Another month of disengagement for me. The arena event is a DOA item for me. The window to play is small, and it's hard for a smaller alliance with a large gap in ops lvl in members to put in a team that has a chance at winning. Stability was an issue for me. Lots of function would time out or just not load or work. Had to restart the game every time. I'm now just sticking around to see how bad it gets before someone ends it all, just like I did for Enterprise
Just pointing out the great grind event for syndicate xp.. " the longest con" this event was excellent. The event long slb where u were rewarded for consistency was a great addition..
They added a motivation tom complete the events..

I am no longer spending in this game until they address some of the bug and lag issues. Spent an average of $800+, but this game is no longer about game play.
i started over from from lvl 37. holding off at lvl 20. the store is a mix bag of good & bad. gained almost 4 ships from blueprints/ship parts. plenty of reasearch, some events, missions & daily goals. there is a little of somethings for everyone. for me the biggest help has been from multiphasic credits from the store. spend the lease hunting for multiphasic credits. a better blends of mission for factions fed 25.415 / klingon
30.657 & romulan -20.922. treasury too many events with weak payoffs. i been trying to follow some of your advise and from others content producers. it has been a great help to my overall way to meet certain goals .a Coverall on game content.i had fun… cause i won 1st in my echoes of war meta. 2 months of work on that one.
Still promoting arena 😂 PVP is full failure. Plz dont promote it as best new development.
The expectations for this game have really dropped. Did Rev just argue that Arenas are A+ content because they mostly functioned ok at release? It's a bad feature, really bad, DOA bad. This month was a complete write-off for most of us.
Arena is DOA for me. Not really interested. Played it. Meh. Way too much other stuff for me to be doing in the game. As far as the Arc went. More of the same with less focus on quality. How much more has Scopley added to the game since the quality over quantity promise? Anyone keeping track?
Event store on my ops 40 account was awesome. Unlocked NX, Monaveen, couple occifers. etc. my ops 52 account unlocked Sloan and the 3rd fc slot and 2 officers. so thats better than the store has been in a long long time. Arena however, i give a solid D … mainly because its boring and it runs at such a time that im busy in RL ( 4 pm to midnight, us central time). Events otherwise were decent and easy to complete on both accounts. as far as this arc's officers go … if i unlock them great, if not thats ok too. I gave up chasing slb a long time ago to unlock new officers. The ship? i only want it for the refinery. it will never be used.
I work for most of the arena time. So my options are to sacrifice some sleep and rush some runs before work. or get a single run during a break.
Feature is dead to me unless i have the day off from work. I haven't even tried it, yet I would like to at least TRY it.
Arenas? was online for 2 hrs each time and only managed to compete in 1 event. I think 1v1 is the best option
Peace – Arena solo test would be nice. I still think it would be better as a solo event.
Trick
Arena is great, and the 5v5 incarnation of it had solid matchmaking, whether it was because of averaging or because nobody was out of bronze yet, who knows. 3v3 era arena is a fine game, but TERRIBLE matchmaking makes it unplayable 80% of the time. Voice chat could give an advantage sure, good strategy, being strong for your level, knowledgable on crews, all that is great. But when you can look at the start of the match, just see the ops level numbers, and know that winning is literally impossible as long as the other team at least phones it in… That is awful. That is what we have today.
The only positive of this arc is that I unlocked Locutus, Seven and Janeway.

Where in the H-E-double hockey sticks did you guys get 400k loot?! I'm ops 57, $20 BP and I think I got around 200k?
I don't remember the last time I had fun playing this game, it's always a chore. I tried the arenas because I wanted to find something fun in this game but despite 6 tries I found that all of this game's inherent problems in PVP are still very much baked into the arenas. I'd give this month a hard D maybe an F.
Glad I waited till todays reset to grade
I’m usually a Debbie Downer but if I’m being fair this was a good month. We had some grinding events with nice rewards, the overlords at least partially listened to concerns around the Arena feature. And I personally unlocked two fleet commanders and a couple of officers in the event store. The biggest issue is that the game is becoming more and more unstable for me on iOS and looking on DC it’s across the platforms.
I think I completed almost all the events that ran this month, also got around 400k currency so that was nice. However I never saw that they even ran the arena once during the month..
Ops-locking officers is no bueno
I tired buying the battle pass and you dont even get the rare officers ! If i buy BP i should at least get the rare officers every time with out doing events the last 5 BP i have not got any officers
Really feels like the game is falling apart … while Scopely piles more loops and pay events on top
The Claim All button on dailies is trash. Too easy to press when you don’t want to claim all the faction goals that take away from the rep you are trying to build
@RevDeuce Think your survey should add a grading for event store content in addition to amount of loot. One thing to get loot (or not) and another thing to be able to spend it on what you want. Also, I think it might be worth it to do a special survey on the Arena (don't think I missed one?). It's a feature with good potential, but lots of issues that maybe a survey would help Scopely see where to focus on the fixes.
While those engineering favors are definitely good just the first tier is 12k for G4 and G5 is 24K. I have at least another week max pulls to get the G4.
Very pleased with the amount of event store currency I got, but it depended wildly on whether you were willing to engage in the endless, endless, endless slbs; day long, multi day, and month long. A lot of burnout in my alliance. Would be very curious to know what they're all rating this month :p
Not sure if this has been mentioned before, but can Scopely not just throw in some random redemption in the Event store so we can burn em off and not have to keep carrying inventory. Something like a 1 event currency for syndicate or even just raw materials. Don't really care as long as you can zero em out.
