Thank you, this video actually cleared something up for me. I did not understand why a little kid would build a standard issue protocol droid, but now that I understand that he found the broken droid in the junkyard and fixed it, this finally makes sense.
Such a dumb way to shoehorn in c3p0 into the prequels.
Putting them in the prequels was stupid
