  2. Heat pumps will not work anywhere in Canada. As a source of heating here because below a certain temperature, they just don't work. But that doesn't stop people from pushing them. They are 20,000, so says our government, lol. But with your better dollar, buy a Canadian one and save 5 grand lol.

  8. When you say $20k for heat pump, is this also full area ducting, air handler unit, heat strips, and so on? If not, I'd reconsider. You could also do Mitsubishi hyper heat heat pump mini splits at various locations for half the price.

  16. You should get a hanging forced air propane heater. It's going to be way cheaper to run, and will heat up your barn very quickly. They're about $450-$550. They even have them at Fleet Farm. Or get natural gas, if you have a gas line out there.
