  1. I play games on my phone though when it comes to boardgames I have to be very selective. Something like Cartographers, Sagrada, One Deck Dungeon work great- but many others certainly do not. Way too small

  2. A DDOS shouldn't cause a loss of data. While adding data (any transaction not fully completed) would definitely be hampered/lost, data loss should be completely unrelated unless they're doing something incredibly stupid like using a non-durable store (something like Redis instead of Postgres) as the source of truth in the critical path. This sounds like bad technical choices were made here.
