how long did it take you to ride out there? in 2016, i took a bus from quezon city which left at 0200, and we arrived in baler at 0600.
for those of you contemplating a trip to baler, do it! as you've seen in jay4speed's video, just the scenery alone is well worth the trip. i'd also recommend seeing the balete tree and doing the hike to see mother falls. just a f.y.i., the hike to mother falls is about 45 minutes, but well worth it once you see the falls. i also went in august and there weren't too many people at the falls.
