Diamond Caving in Minecraft's Hardest Mod | HARDCORE | Better than Wolves CE v2.1.4

I died in Better than Wolves with the “MEA” addon which makes mobs super OP. It was the farthest documented attempt at MEA in Hardcore – getting to the diamond pickaxe before a meeting a Charged Creeper on a 1 second fuse timer face to face in a ravine. However, some individuals think I’m garbage, as they play its little brother – CLASSIC BTW (no MEA addon). The audacity. As such, I return from my “Last Run” for one final attempt – this time, DOWNGRADING to their preferred version.

RULES
1. The Version will be Better than Wolves CE 2.1.4 (on MC v1.5.2)
2. Addons used will be Crafting Guide (crafting recipes), and Ears (a skin addon so I’m not just steve lol)
3. I will get only 1 Attempt
4. I will NOT be able to reset seed and will have to play the seed given to me as long as it is not impossible to play (example: treeless/foodless island/jungle only spawn)
5. No game breaking exploits – No Relog – No iFrame Abuse – No Arrow Duplication
6. After my death or ender dragon kill, I will move onto the Modpack Crash Landing and look for other hard mods and will do scattered BTW Streams (no more BTW vids)

Strategy Used: “NEWTON’S GAMBIT”
Gambit: “a clever action in a game or other situation that is intended to achieve an advantage and usually involves taking a risk”
This method was our BEST and HARDEST to pull off (because night in MEA is super oppressive). However, in CLASSIC BTW, it is a joke. If you are experienced in BTW, you can easily complete the whole strategy:
“Newton’s Gambit” (Starting Strategy)
=DAY 1:
(Find Cows — Dig 2 Deep Hole at the LOWEST nearby point
— Push 2-3 Cows In
— Suffocate Using Dirt Slabs
— On 5th Damage Tick start breaking the dirt
— Obtain Beef
— Get one stick from log
— Turn into pointy stick in crafting slot
— Find stone
— Use pointy stick to get one stone
— Turn into sharp stone in crafting slot
— Use sharp stone to get 4 more stone
— Make one more sharp stone then get one more stone
— Create a fresh sharp stone and combine it with two beef to create a sinew processing item
— Create Sinew (SHOULD BE ~MIDDAY)
— Get one more stick
— Use 1 stick, 2 stone, 1 sinew to make an axe
— Obtain 3-9 Logs
— Find more animals
— Chop 3 logs in crafting slot and create a campfire (4 sticks) and fire plow (2 sticks)
— Find at least 4 animals nearby
— Dig a 2 deep hole IF THERE ARE NOW COWS or a 3 deep hole IF THERE ARE COWS
— Place campfire at bottom and use fire plow on it (Spam Click it until it lights)
— Push mobs into the fire hole
— Take your burnt food and escape the night into a big tree
— Use some dirt on the top of the tree and make a safe platform (2 blocks up from leaves) and create another campfire if possible OR use burnt food to wait out the night)
=NIGHT 1:
Make Shovel, Get Clay (watch for squids), put clay down ASAP for cooking in sun, get food

GENERAL ADVICE:
Skeletons are stupid without MEA. They will not tactically retreat, don’t lead their shots, and don’t hunt like in MEA. !!!HOWEVER, they also are oddly stronger close range as they are missing the HP nerf from MEA!!!
Creepers can be blocked with only 1 block/slab/sapling/grass/water without MEA
Spiders are kinda lame but if you get webbed and then had a creeper/skeleton aggro you’re probably in trouble

MEA Mob Changes: (NOT ANYMORE – WE IN CLASSIC)
The Infamous Mob Enhancement Addon – buffs mobs and reworks their AI:
All mobs with tools have INSANE attack range
All mobs get buffed after Nether Portal (also spawns charged creepers) (like terraria hard mode)
Zombies that burn in day turn into Skeletons
Zombies can break blocks
Skeletons no longer burn
Skeletons will make distance when low HP
Skeletons will shoot from farther and are faster
Skeletons lead their shot, almost always hitting a running target. Use a timed zigzag right before they shoot to hard counter this.
Skeletons will pursue a fleeing target until LOS is broken & you’re far enough
Creeper Fuse Time is reduced to 1.25 seconds
Creepers will breach walls up to 3-4 blocks thick to reach you
Creepers may walk while igniting
Creeper explosions cannot be blocked with a single block anymore (damage is split between feet and body)
Endermen emit an aura of gloom (Debuffs: Slowness, FOV increase, mining fatigue, DOT)
Wither Skeletons spawn deep in caves
Probably more than I haven’t yet encountered
