I live in Alberta as well. And spending 94 dollars on 2 copies for me and my wife so 188 dollars just felt so wrong already. How is that now enough for them.
okay diablo 4 is the best of diablo 2 and 3…. idc that one person or maybe 100 people hate it becaue theres not a witch doctor…. cmon grow up… its a game and a verry well made game with alot too doo it and alot of side quests with storys of there own… im sorry i havnt had a goooooood RPG game like this in YEARS im sick of COD its the same thing over and over if anyhting the 6th or 265th ideration of a game is 100000000000000000000000 times worse then diablo 4. . gooday ^.^
cosmetics looks good, however you dont have to buy them at those prices. just dont buy cosmetics and give them the flippy bird instead.
$20 for a skin. When Witcher 3 goes on sale, it's the GOTY edition with both of its large expansions – for only $5…
Edit: Diablo IV looks good but waiting until it lands on Gamepass sounds better.
I'm disgusted how these games launch at full price, and yet they lock content and customizations behind microtransactions on day one. I was originally under the impression where most of these skin would've been in the first battle pass or something, which I probably could be accepted. Or if they even started doing this a while after the game released I think it would've been fine. But this is so disgusting. If you by a game on day one. You should get all the content that exists on say one of your paying full price.
Sure it's just cosmetics, but it's still items that would've been really cool to have as base game, and it's also time spent on microtractional content instead of the game itself, or its content. It's just too damn greedy for me to support.
Y people mad? Just don't buy lol
Still donβt have to buy it π€·π½
Disgusting price, you can buy real clothes cheaper than buying in game clothes. It should be laws against this shit tbh.
Diablo 4 isn't even worth pirating.
You donβt have to buy anything but the game to play it lol
I think my Diablo journey has finally come to an end.
$80 for a gun skin ππππ what is the gaming world coming too.
I literally don't respect people who play Diablo. Anyone who puts up with that level of exploitation has no self-respect.
Nobody is forcing anyone to buy cosmetics.
Weird way to say you hate people with money but ok.
Modern gaming getting worst? Nah just pick a better game that wont make u their cash cow. Im playing TOTK and ddnt regret or say those words
why does it seem like people have forgotten about the real money auction house from d3
I mean, its a choice you make to buy things in a game. It's literally just cosmetics. You can still enjoy the game as it is, without buying stuff. Because, you already bought it. What's the problem?
D4 will go the way of D3, everyone will be bored of it within 2 years. It's more like WOW than Diablo.
It's visual cosmetics in a top down rpg…. don't buy it if you don't want to drop $30 on a set. It doesn't change the gameplay
It's not only modern gaming that gets worse, but also players who get dumber. The same mf who mocked Horse armor dlc in oblivion are now meat riding Blizzard saying "If people want to pay 25$ for horse armor why is this wrong" not realizing that this kind of bullshit mentality is the reason why Microtransaction are being pushed so hard even in single player games
Asmongold summarizes loser clivk bait takes like you pretty easily.
I have no problem with the microtransactions because they're purely an annoyance and optional.
What I have a problem with is the game being a superficial generic piece of shit, with shit story, generic MMO lite gameplay, and basically 6 acts of filler with repetitive grindy activities to get you to a grindy endgame with generic lackluster pvp and other nonsensical activities that you'd find in MMOs like SWTOR. I dont give a shit about the microtransactions but I refuse to spend 100+ hours in a generic repetitive game in 2023. It's the kind of game that is riddled with cheap dopamine daily activities that you'd find on F2P MMOs, and I just want to go beyond that type of gaming as an adult. Blizzard basically took zero risk, and I was interested to play the game due to the interesting and frankly fascinating mythos they set up with Lilith & Inarius, but they completely butcher the story with shit tier fan fiction level writing so I just don't see the point. THE ONLY and I mean THE ONLY thing that impressed me after 50+ hours in the beta where I fully completed ACT 1 is the SOUND DESIGN. Killing monsters has never felt so good in terms of the sounds of the little demons, squeletons, and other atrocities you crush with your mace or spells. And the zones have amazing soundtrack too. But all of this is overshadowed by this CHEAP AS FUCK MMO feel with little glowy dudes named xxxpawnage2048203 running about. It's just a garbage game for the ultra casual smooth brained people who will spend 10000+ hours on this as they did mindlessly grinding D3 and Immortal before. D4's packaging (ambience, music, and art direction) is TOP NOTCH but what you get inside the package is the same as their KFC marketing event: Some cheap disgusting reproduction fried chicken that will make you sick eventually. The Blizzard that created masterpieces like Warcraft 3 and D2 is dead. All this American greedy corporation cares about is MONEY FIRST, ART SECOND.
Its purely cosmetic… just get over it…
Diablo is really just following the formula of POE. I really don't care about cosmetics when the game is free and they CONSTATNTLY add content. That is the only time I think it is even kind of permissible like with POE.
There's no excuse for the pride garbage and the ESG dump that is Overwatch 2.
Modern gaming: ow2 ((getting cancel)), redfall ((won't make till the end of the year)), they stop making battle Royale games,
Also modern gaming: tears of the kingdom, re4, atomic heart, yukaza ishin, hifi rush, octopath traveler 2, star wars jedi survivor, hogwarts, pizza tower, supraland 2, warhammer boltgun, speed freaks littleraly free with no microtransaction, Sony showcase shows a bunch of cult classic to sequels or remakes that can be easily improved on, blizzard is just selling out their ips before Microsoft them, and if you don't want pay 60 dollars but still wanna try the game, it's only 15 dollars
Let's talk about something good instead, "modern game bad"
Who cares.. dont buy them. Atleast the cosmetics dont have any effect on the game itself and whoever buys them has only himself to blame.
It is getting greedy with gaming these days. They seriously over price just for a freaking skin. That to me is beyond greedy.
Skyrim players be like…brah thats free mod material.
Ive been boycotting games with microtransactions or woke agendas for a few years now. Its good. Cities: Skylines is a good game.
I don't think it's a big problem as long as it's not p2w
No….Diablo Immortal proved that modern gaming is getting worse, NUMEROUS earlier Blizzard titles have proven this. You still bought the game, don't act surprised.
sadly the only way to stop companies from cashing in on microtransactions is to not buy anything from those stores.
Is the issue the people setting the prices…. or the people still buying these things? Id say the latter.
Meanwhile Elden Ring…
