These cinematics create the ambiance where the game starts, it's an entire story cuts by beautiful movie like scene, but your gameplay just tie the different chapters. the second game is still a masterpiece to this day.

I prefer the original Baal intro scene tbh.
The guy seemed more scared and Baals powers looked more nuanced and easy, like he didn’t need a real attack to dispose of that guard.
He looks more intimidating but I just like the orginal design for the type of attitude he had.
This blows away 99% of movie special effects. Kind of sad.
