I’m glad this game became its own thing rather than be a part of the RE universe.
I bought DMC when it came out and remember describing it to my friends as more like Castlevania than an RE game.

and also it would be great to see remake of DMC2 and 4 ,but why those 2 you ask ? As 2 is 2 and many of us know how that went,and 4 ? well since its also unfinished mess which was enjoyable but still unfinished

Good stuff, though to be fair to Itsuno, he wasn't the director for the vast majority of DMC2's development. As far as I know, DMC2's director is still unnamed. Itsuno was brought it at last minute to make the game playable as it was barely half-finished months before the release date.
They could still use the police officer plot line by having it be Dante's "cover" while gathering info for a job, maybe while collaborating with Morrison and Trish

Many people don't know this, but the original Devil May Cry actually started as a DLC for "The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion" but was later made into it's own game due to it's uniqueness and creativity.
Did you know that Resident Evil 1 was originally supposed to be Devil May Cry 4
I haven't seen many people cover the development and cut content of Devil May Cry 1 before, but man these cuts were some wild stuff and later series regular Vergil has his character design tracing back to the "RE4" phase of DMC1 cause dude he looks so much how he later showed up for reals in DMC3, simply wild.
