  1. Something clicked when it spoke of the former detective and his preference for air fresheners and the like: I was a nurse, and some of the odors were indeed unforgettable and seemed to stay on your hair, clothing, and in your nose forever. I can’t smell Vicks vaporub without also 16:10 smelling the gas gangrene odor we tried to cover with it. And I, too want nice scents, now that I have a choice. Didn’t dawn on me why.

  2. Inmate strangled his cell mate, tied him up so he could puppet his body to signal during count, had stockpiles a ton of bleach (Covid) and that covered the smell. To make it worse, the open window made the blacket on his chest move, so it looked like the victim was breathing.

Guy routinely refused to respond to orders, so not getting up for bedbook wasn't seen as odd, and his face was visible, but a sheet over the light disguised the discoloration.

  3. 22:34 I've heard this story before YEEEEEEEEEARS ago. I still call bullshit on it. Water hot enough to scald, sure. Hot enough to effectively cook someone? Get fucked. And the idea of "infinite hot water" is a poor attempt at fixing a plot hole.
