Why is this game getting so many negative reviews on steam?
i think the devs did a great job, im enjoying this a lot
Played this game, some tips: you need governing to gain building bonus, food important for unit (each unit have food upkeep), at start gain trade agreement around you and you increase mercahnt relation (every 2-3 gain 1), similiar non-agrressive pact gain increase noble relation. Max relation is 10.
My opinion is a poorly design and over price game. UI is bad, RTS battle is very bad, nothing about managing. I think KOH 1 is better experience than this.
Well i have already learned the proper pronunciation for 2 French towns in the first few minutes so off to a great start! Hey have you thought about returning to Anno 1404 at all?

What do u think about the limit of ruling only 8 provinces?
Bought this game and had my @ss kicked every game. Pissed me off every game, UNTIL, I played as Norway. I managed to hold on to my country against a bigger more powerful Sweden. And slowly I built my army and then went in for the kill. Suddenly, this game has gone from a hard-to-learn, stress fest of a game and has suddenly turned into a fantastic game of potential world domination. So, guys, it has a hard learning curve, persistence is absolutely needed, but at some point, it'll just click and suddenly the game changes into something fantastic.

I have a question regarding armies… in Royal Armory there is upgrades which gives NOTHING, it is written that some are required for recruiting ELITE UNITS, but max what i can recruit is heavy units, no ELITES, so wtf ? 😀

I Always play VH with small kingdom (1 province) , reroll until i get all castle around, and war with big Kingdom around.
i can manage kill or capture all marshal who invaded me LOL. and get some ransom around 5k-10k gold if its a King.
