More like Infinity War, Final Shape will be endgame
The story its butchered and disjointed for anyone that joined the community within the last few years. And lazy Bungie expects players to fill in the gaps in the story through morsels of lore they have to read through instead of being presented in gameplay. Either way I'll be glad when they finally close out the game and shut down servers for it. Bungie killed any fondness I may have had for looter shooters. Thank god for Borderlands far more entertaining than this sad sack of shit you all consider a game.

In a way, i feel like bungie is slightly tying guardians to Spartans from halo in a functionality sense. I don't remember who said it but i think there was an old halo line saying "on the ground, Spartans always won. The problem was that they could rarely bring those victories into space."
I feel like guardians have a similar limitation. We almost always win ground engagements but require a large amount of planning and improvements to engage threats beyond simple ground conflict. Just think of how many guardians have been lost (in the lore) to even relatively simple threats, like fallen kells or tougher hive warriors.
I don't see lightfall ending well for us, and I'd go far enough to say I'd anticipate several named characters dying. Likely even a few in a less than heroic fashion.
I hope in light fall we lose the light. That’s also probably when they will add more to the stasis trees and give stasis multiple supers
Lightfall isn't the endgame, but "The Final Shape" is.

The Witness was once mortal, so I don't think it's the Winnower, but rather an avatar or queen piece of the Winnower.
The Traveler by proxy is the last piece of the Light.
This is why I haven’t played destiny 2 in a long while I just couldn’t get into witch queen but light fall in readyyyy
Personally I'm convinced that The Witness is not the final bad guy. I mean the name alone makes them sound like they are 2nd in command. So whatever is in the Traveler might simply be the Lights 2nd as well.

I think redacted is the next symbol and it’s simply showing the traveler with out light. I also think the triangle armada is going to encase it. That’s why the obsidian sphere where the traveler was is bigger then the traveler.
I am done with Destiny after what they done in Iron Banner making your light level meaning less..Damn your Bungie. Ill never play Again 2 many other good games out there

the traveler and the pyramids fight in an epic battle. they will destroy each other there will be no winner. the guardian does some crazy shit for a last ditch effort and merges the traveler and the pyramids to form the final shape… A CUBE 😅
Love to see a season on Europa trying to stop the freeing of Eremis, but in the end she gets free, becomes a disciple and makes off with the Pyramid there.
Dude I really loved the fact that ghaul managed to “take the light” from us. But the witness is on a new level of scary and I can’t wait for it all to go down.
I'm going to sound crazy or a bullshitter, but I had a dream about the opening of Lightfall (Hell, it was even before the first Witness cut scene) where the Pyramid ships raid the city, with a dozen of specialized vassals circling around the traveling like stars before using their powers to rip it open and tear it apart. But with the Witness talking about a "pale heart", I wonder if that's its end goal with the Traveler. Maybe the darkness being needs to make a entry point to commune with it. Just a random thought from my weird head.
Also, theory about the Traveler I've had a for a long time. I believe there may only be one or one left, but it's a ship like the Pyramids and there may be a Witness like entity inside, or us, the guardians, are a counterpart to the witness.

When Caiatl says "A city besieged", I'm guessing that she doesn't mean The Last City, otherwise she would have said "Your City". I'm guessing that she's talking about the Dreaming City, of which Caiatl hasn't seen (I believe). Xivu Arath, Hive God of War still has control over the Dreaming City (I think) and she definitely has the power to "besiege" the city. Plus, the Dreaming City Curse was never actually broken, so maybe we can finally see an end to it.

I highly doubt we would lose our light again as number 1 thats been done and number 2 the whole point of the beginning of the red war was to show that now our ghost is the center of our power. Before it was the travelers power through the ghost but now it’s ours. So even if they kill the traveler etc we still will have our light unless they want to remove more of their own story. And in the final scene of the WQ it says inside the pale heart is the key. So there’s something or someone inside the traveler atleast.
There is a war coming.
