Concept 1- Using a heat pad under the gravel to distribute and retain heat around the base of the tank. It also looks decorative. The goal is to keep the tank around 76 degrees Fahrenheit or 24 Celsius.
I may try to add more colorful rocks on top to make it look more like Mars, and I plan to add a tiny 1/64 ID silicon airline attached to the bottom of the tank.
I may also add a light.
