Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis on Monday signed a bill that gives him control of Walt Disney World’s self-governing district, punishing the company over its opposition to the so-called “Don’t Say Gay” law.
The bill requires DeSantis, a Republican, to appoint a five-member board to oversee the government services that the Disney district provides in its sprawling theme park properties in Florida.
“Today the corporate kingdom finally comes to an end,” he said at a bill signing ceremony in Lake Buena Vista. “There’s a new sheriff in town, and accountability will be the order of the day.”

So the 'state' passes laws to restrict businesses…How is that NOT communism (just because the state didn't TAKE OVER the business and run it for social benefit?). The hypocrisy of Republicans in so many areas is simply beyond reason. Oh wait, they are not about reason, logic, analytics, etc. All those WOKE things that they despise (or would lump under that heading which they are not).
The Disney folks had it made and anyone that caused the elimination of this advantage should be fired by Disney.

Good deal! Plus, I do wish Disney would put up signs for foreigners who do not understand the concept of taking turns, no cutting in lines. Those of us who stand in the heat waiting to take our own child or grandchild on a ride do not like to be pushed aside because of line cutters, we want to enjoy our trip with our loved ones just as much as they do and paid to do so. After the workers allowed this repeatedly we stopped going to Disney at all.
I wonder what he's going to do when Disney moves a state over. Good luck with tourism after Disney moves.
