  1. This story is getting old. Tired of hearing about it. Disney lost. They lost control of RCID and that’s all that matters. Hopefully all the brainless DeSantis hating democrat stooges move and stay in democrat hell hole California where they belong and hopefully the Woke Pedo Company just sticks to selling sugar water and diabetes cakes and cheap made in China toys. And if they want to take fake moral stands then hopefully they’ll open their big fat mouths about the don’t say or be gay laws of China and the Middle East. But of course they won’t. They’re not that brave.

  2. WHAT IF DE SANTIS BECAME THE CEO OF DISNEYLAND AND DISNEY WORLD DID DARK THINGS TO DISNEY LIKE STRIPPING STRIPPING THE NAME OF DISNEY AND PUTTING DE SANTISLAND OR STRIPPING THE ACT OF SELF GOVERNMENTS OR STRIPPING CEO BOB IGNER OR REMOVING DISNEY TO NORTH CAROLINA OR INAPPROPRIATE CONSERVATION ACT OF VIOLENCE AND RACIST WARS AGAINST HIS KEY OF WORDS AND GO INTO A DARK AGE OF TIMELINE OF

  3. I strongly disagree with you on the Disney issue. True, governmental disctricts do offer tax breaks for certain entities to lure them to do business there. But this is different. Disney INITIATED this agreement FOR THEMSELVES from the beginning because the concept of EPCOT was SUPPOSED to be an actual working lived-in city that would allow Disney to build and regulate that Experimental Prototype Community (city ) of Tomorrow. But EPCOT never became a city…it is and always has only been just a theme park (the same as Universal, Sea World and Busch Gardens). So since the real purpose of their self regulation never happened, then their self-governing powers they created for themselves should have been dissolved YEARS ago. And this is more than just some tax break…it is the legal right to govern themselves that they created for a purpose that NEVER came to be. Any concessions that are given to a corporation by the govenment is ONLY given and can be taken away BY THE GOVERNMENT. Disney World is not a state nor has the lLEGAL RIGHT to decide that it has MORE power than the governmental disctrict in which it resides. There are many corporations that greatly benefit the local governments iwhere they are located. . Universal, Sea World, Busch Gardens all benefit Florida. So should Florida give them the same governing powers that Disney thinks they should have? Should every company that benefits their local goverment be given autonomous powers to govern, regulate and tax themselves?? The government is not giving consideration to the "Pixie Dust" of this issue!!

  4. I think you e got all this Desantis stuff bang on. It’s just crazy. I think he thinks attacking Disney gets him seen and this helps him become president. However for it’s just making him look nuts. BTW I’m British and have no political side to back.

  5. Disney's lawsuit isn't political. It's straight up Constitutional as DeSantis and Florida's GOP violated Disney's 1st Amendment Freedom Of Speech rights and an illegal state government takeover of Disney's property and charter which established the RCID.

  6. For CONservatives, every accusation is a confession. That’s how sociopaths gaslight. He wants to silence Disney. Disney, being a corporation, for better or worse, has the rights of a person. Including freedom of speech. Also, they filed in Tallahassee cuz that’s the damn capital of FL. DeDantis is such a booger eater. 🙄

  7. DeSantis really said “Disney is getting all PoLiTiCaL just because I tRiEd To TaKe AwAy A lOnG sTaNdInG aGrEeMeNt ThAt NoBoDy HaD a PrObLeM wItH uNtIl ThEy SaId ThEy DiDn’T aCtIvElY hAtE gAy PeOpLe 🙄”

You’re right, these Trump-esque types are absolutely banking on nobody having media literacy or a memory longer than a single scroll of a Twitter screen’s worth. They start things and then complain that they’ve started. It’s a joke and a slap in the face to actual productive politics and governing. I hope this backfires on him so hard and that Disney manages to tie him up in legal nonsense during what I’m sure he was hoping would be a smooth presidential run.

  8. Next time DeSatin appears in his government issued white booties, cue Nancy Sinatra's "these boots are made for walkin" and get him out of town! And. if she claims that DeSantis was not responsible for the change in law, present all of his email to any and all members of the board and legislature to prove he had no opinion (or influence) in the matter

  9. Desantis, you are trying to get more government control over Disney to make political points to try toget elected president. Can you say hypocritical. You started all this.

  10. Tom, you should watch the videos put out my Legal Mindset on YouTube. He is a FL lawyer that has been doing Special District property law for a decade. He says Disney is going to lose.

  11. I sincerely hope it does shut this lame, weak man up. He is so damned annoying. Like the worst of whiny children in the parks that isn’t getting their Mickey bar fast enough

  12. DeSantis has what we Scots call ‘Wee Man Syndrome’.

Typified by a deeply insecure, smaller man who gets drunk and harasses the biggest – but friendliest – guy at the bar.

Except this time, the big guy punched back. And wee Ron can only cry victim.

  13. Regardless of how we got to this point, Disney shouldn't get special privilege's that might give them an unfair competitive advantage. Iger should just meet with DeSantis and work out a deal that makes both sides happy. Iger can look like he didn't back down, DeSantis can have his "win" and we can move on.

  14. I agree with Disney here. Desantis and the legislature is completely targeting Disney with these changes, include legislation is still in process like the monorail safety checks when they narrowly define it so only Disney World is impacted. If he saids Disney is being "political" he's actually talking about himself. I am worried about Disney's final results, but Desantis is temporary and Disney is there for the long term.

  15. The lawsuit will go nowhere. It's literally Disneys way of showing their woke base that they arnt giving up without a fight. Anyone who knows the law knows that Disney should not have any special treatment. Disney will roll over soon.

  16. Censorship of libraries and schools. Punishing companies like Disney for expressing their opinion. DeSantis is fighting woke-ism on the far left while he is practicing woke-ism on the far right. Fortunately we're seeing who he truly is before he has a chance to gain popularity outside of Florida.

  17. Not political, but your misunderstanding of the difference between tax break (incentives) and Disney's very own special private self-government is what's asinine here. No other corporation in this country has what they all refer to as "the Disney deal."
