Carr was not the only problem with this team. Carr is not the solution either and will never take this team (as currently constructed) to the promise land. The Raiders are dysfunctional and there are not many QBs that would’ve done much better under the same set of circumstances that Carr faced. Defense is pathetic as well but it was time to part ways. Carr didn’t fit well with JMD (who I never felt like he was a good leader of men). It won’t matter who is the next QB for the Raiders unless you fix the Defense and start drafting better. I wish Carr all the best. He was a class act and deserved better but Mark Davis is a clown

It was time to move on, I think. But I am still concerned about Josh McDaniels as Head Coach. I do NOT think he will retire; there is still a lot of "gas in the tank" and so I think he will do well at the Jets (true he struggles in the cold!), for example, or New Orleans (warmer!). There are many teams that would like him as a starter. He is not YET backup material, IMO.
