Deploying to a nuclear bunker with the UK-led mini-military alliance

British military personnel serving with the Joint Expeditionary Force (JEF) have taken up their latest posting – in a nuclear bunker.

Several hundred personnel from the three branches of service have been deployed with JEF to the former US air force base at Keflavik in Iceland.

Working together with personnel from Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and the Nordic nations, British personnel will add to JEF’s speed and flexibility in responding to situations and helping shape Nato’s future.

  2. At least Turkey and Hungary stop Sweden or Finland joining this grouping. Shame that Turkey and Hungary can stop other nations joining NATO, when both Turkey and Hungary refuse to assist Ukraine, and both do Putins bidding, by refusing to sanction Russia or Putin. NATO needs to be able to eject members who have clearly become antagonists to the ideals of that Democratic grouping of NATO countries. Turkey and Hungary both have toxic authoritarian leaders, toxic to any democracy they deal with.

  3. Seems to me that at 2:04 broadcasting not only type of network switch but even the serial number might well be a violation of OpSec/ComSec. There's also possible color coding of the cables. Just seems like a possible issue, regardless of cable colors. If that particular switch is known to have targetable bugs…. Or maybe it's a honey pot.
