  1. Thanks for the review. Sounds like a skip for me… no patience for games that don't respect my time by offering something as basic as a manual save in a story based game.

  2. Wow! I didn't expect a 5.5. I did notice a few minor bugs, but not as many as yours.

I played the game on Xbox Series X. Also, I hadn't any problems with brightness.

What it came down to for me are the ambiguities in the game that you have to deal with from time to time. Like the arrival on Mars, then there is no clear indication of where to go.

  3. Loving it so far on base ps4. Enjoyed how the intro ties into the first game so you experience something only told to you before. I am fine with the checkpoint system like in Deliver Us The Moon. There were enough checkpoints to not make me lose too much progress, manual save would be nice but it's not a game breaker, although that final part in Moon was quite annoying to get through in one go, albeit ultimately rewarding! Agree that starting a new game overwriting your old game is a pain needs to give you a warning like the first game should you press new game by mistake. I agree with the pausing though, the first game had a brief pause on ps4 before the game saves at each checkpoint and this one does too. It is a bit immersion breaking but nothing too serious. Haven't experienced any real frame rate issues so far. Overall really enjoyed the first one so this was a no brainer for me.

  4. So do I understand right that you've made a review video without the day one patch? At least based on the comment that a day one patch is planned, which might fix some of the technical issues. Seriously? I'm not sure what to say about that but it would definitely fit to my general opinion about videogame journalists and media today.

  5. Typical game reviewerism.

This game will have a better reception with gamers than with critics. Storytelling is king in games like this. The Walking Dead and Life is Strange weren't known for their gameplay.

  6. Damn the movement looks very janky, very jerky animations, the character models look very creepy uncanny-valley-ish… I mean, eww.. they seem to have no weight or momentum to them

  7. The complaint about not being able to save at will tells me you're very young.

Back in the Master System days we didn't have saving at all 😆🙂. Great review though, very balanced and informative, thank you.

  8. We need more games like this! Climate Change isn’t going away, and in that regard, DuM is more Survival Horror than random pop gun “horror” games like Dead Space & that other one.

The cast of characters is really diverse, which is great!
