The escalating air pollution in Delhi has taken a worrying turn, according to the latest data from the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), Pune.
The contribution of stubble burning to Delhi’s pollution reached a season-high of 8%, up from 3.2% on Monday. With the onset of winter, this figure is expected to rise significantly in the coming days, posing severe risks to air quality and public health.

wonder why every year the deteriorating air quality & AQI crisis is only brought up in New Delhi just before Diwali?? Is there a sinister plot by vested groups to ensure that this important festival of lights is dimmed. You can say this is a conspiracy theory but I can bet my life that next Diwali that same people will say the same thing about air quality & pollution in the Yamuna etc just before Diwali 😏
Poor government control in India regard to air pollution, most Indian attitude toward create clean environmental is totally none. Shamed nation.
There's no law and order in Delhi…shall be ashamed of being the capital city. Not at all safe for women and girls..Also now air pollution. Why shall someone live there?
