For several years after the release of “Prometheus,” it was widely assumed that Shaw would return, and the sequel would focus on the Engineer’s Paradise planet, where David and Shaw were headed. However, at some point, Ridley Scott or the studio chose to move away from the “Prometheus” narrative entirely, ultimately deciding to eliminate Dr. Shaw and the beings on the Engineer planet.

  1. Agree the story drags on the same plots, over and over.
Hollywood needs to make a good movie instead of trying to make a good redux of the same shyt.
No Wonder the new Romulus makes me question.
Considering it's name is a star trek race makes me think it's going to be horrible shyt that's lame Hollywood crap.

  2. The movie had such potential but the director and those in charge purposely fucked this movie up. They just took shit from other movies and added it in here. Beginning was stupid, going to an unknown world with out space suits also stupid, and somehow able to create xenomorphs was a bit stupid too.

  3. God AI is so fascinating. I think people forget that a perfect AI will be able to form personality problems just as a perfectly normal person can have a mental break. Take anyone and lock them alone for years and it will affect them massively. It would be no different to an AI put through the same thing .i never thought david was evil from the start just his environment taught him to be that way. His creator being who he was wouldnt have held value to individual human life as well as giving him a compulsive need for perfection. David has been my favorite villan since his debut? Is that the word im looking for

  4. I just disagree with one thing: in the final fight, David wasn’t relieved when Daniels survived, his expression showed frustration and disappointment that once again his “perfect organism” was defeated by the flawed humans he hates so much.

  5. I like the genesis of the Vedanta, like ISCON is promoting! The Western idea of destructive genesis like in „Alien“ or „Prometheus“ is negative! There is always a fight against an enemy.
