Haha I had no idea this existed, it feels so weird and kind of cringy.
Another brilliant video. You are the best at what you doβοΈπ₯π©΅Thank you.
I was born on the show's first season finale. Didn't know that. Cool.
It's crazy how it's always Micheal Eisner
Hey Kev? Have you done an episode on horizons?
βIt was completely fabricated from the beginning?β Do you have proof of that or is this just an inference?
I never watch Idol except a few auditions in the early seasons. But then you mentioned Sanjya. Suddenly memories from The Soup came flooding back.
I love Kevin's extremely sarcastic editing, hammering in on something annoying to let us know just how annoying it is πππ
I auditioned for the American Idol Experience on Thanksgiving Day 2009. I made it into one of the shows but did not make it to the finale show. It is still one of my favorite memories from going to a Disney park. I sang a Broadway song initially and the producer enjoyed it enough to give me a chance to sing a pop song. I sang "Life is a Highway" for the audition and that got me into the show. I eventually sang "What a Wonderful World" for the actual show. When I saw this video, I couldn't wait to watch it and it took me back to that experience.
have fun
All the "have fun" clips were hilarious. Interesting vid! I'd never heard of the attraction.
youβre honestly one of the funniest people on YouTube
…have fun…
I remember watching the season with Senjaya as a young kid and being a big fan of him XD
Eisner is to this channel what Carmack is to civvie
and remember kids: just have fun with it! and go to school
I love that one of the "Ryan Seacrest types" is a blonde woman π
a core childhood memory of mine was auditioning for the american idol experience… this video was made for me
Personality test! If you gravitate to American Idol, you want to be Harrison Ford. If you gravitate to the Epic Stunt Spectacular, you want to be Indiana Jones
disney mgm sounds so cool i should go ther- oh wait i havnt heard anything about it before and this video started with american idol, oh no.
I wasn't expecting DefunctTV on American Idol. Thank you for another great video.
going to honey i shrunk the kids and the movie set tour is one of my few memories of my childhood. the big claw thing was so fun, my parents spent thousands for me to want to spend all day digging holes, and going to the fun buzz lightyear shooter ride
so the first 25 minutes are just about the history of Disney and American Idol, instead of the theme park. Boy oh boy..
Can't believe I missed this in my notifications! At least now I get to settle in with my popcorn and enjoy this for my Saturday night movie.π
Pick me Dawg
have fun
I loved the reacurring "Just have fun" bit π
So far watched only until 7:39 and i love the honesty this video is produced and handles such a ridiculous topic.
I had fun, great video
You're so right. My dad fucking loved Pants on the Ground.
You are one of the most intelligent creators. I love how your videos unfold and the way you slowly escalate the story.
What advice do you have?
Dead eyed, monotone have fun

50:59 MR PEANUTBUTTER???
I remember Making the Band. Mostly because the one member, Ashley Angel, voiced Alex in the videogame LUNAR: Silver Star Story Complete.
8:45 Energy?? CREATIVITY?!?! don't make me laugh πππ
