  1. As with every game Tom introduces me to, I play enough after the first video that his subsequent videos on the game starts driving me nuts, resulting in me screaming at my phone remove the sacred golems, why do you still have non undead on the board, why are you still using the skeletons!!!! πŸ˜‚

Same thing happened with vampire survivors πŸ˜… oh well he got there in the end πŸ˜‚

  2. OK, there were a few misplays here but I think I got it.

    1. Tom kept removing undead minions, and the spirits did something per undead minion (i think it was blood arrows per undead minion?) so by removing them he was reducing the amount of arrows. He made up for it later.
    2. The Wild Hunt, on it's cooldown, would do 1 CRIT for every 3 ATK the wild hunt had. So if the wild hunt had 3 ATK, it'd do 3 damage per hit until it's CD, at which point it'd do 1 crit, which is double damage, so it'd do 6 damage. At 10 ATK, the Wild Hunt would do 3 crits for 20 damage each, for a total of 60 damage. I'm not sure where the +3 damage came from to make it 63, but as it increased in damage it would do progressively more crits doing more damage each time.
    3. Tom kept seeing a mummy which, on 2CD, means every 3 turns it'd gain +1 ATK, meaning mummies build up damage over time.

It all worked out because the spirits blood arrow damage was SO GOOD

  3. I think it would be more of a rogue-like gotcha in my opinion mixed with a deck builder because yeah there are cards but they're more of a random assortment that you can get and you can refresh or reroll or whatever you would consider it I think it's more of a deck builder gacha mixed with a rogue-lite Auto battler but that's just my opinion to be honest I don't think it would be considered a gambler or a gacha because the sheer fact you're not using a real life or in concurrency to get them you just get them on completion of a level or failure of a level so maybe it would be more likely to be called a reward system instead?

  4. I feel like my only complaint about this type of game is how quick a run is over (14 floors in this case) You get invested in making a cool 'deck' and synergies.. And then it's over and you have to start a new one.. I feel like I'd prefer more of a 'go until you die' type of game instead. But this game works well for Tom's typical video length so it's hard to complain about it.

  5. Commenting again to see I'd love some more long-form content. I'm happy with the current length if that's what works the best, but I oeuld gladly watch some unedited or minimally edited content measured by the hour instead of by the minute πŸ˜…

Keep up the great work Tomathy 😊
