The Houtis have emphasised to everyone that their operations are to support the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip and that they cannot stand idly by in the face of the genocide. Surely it is time for Shapps to take direct action against Israel. But hey, he's a member of the Conservative Friends of Israel and, like US Secretary Of State Blinken, he's Jewish and has said that ‘for all Israel’s faults, and goodness knows there are many,’ he remains a firm supporter.
