  1. Resin comes from the Tree Taps. Use the tap on either a pine or oak tree and it will eventually produce the resin. Not sure which of the two trees gives it to you though.

  2. Not sure you're desperate enough to do this yet, but geode contents are determined when you crack them open, not when you find them, so if you get a bunch of geodes, crack them open first thing in the morning and if you don't get a red beryl, reload and restart the day and try again 🤷‍♀️

Also the way your voice got when you were so excited about catching the new insects and ocean critters was adorable and made me smile so hard 😅

  3. 38:03 Go ahead and be giddy! This is fun stuff! Collecting things and filling out the collection is cool, and some of these creatures are really interesting, beautiful, and/or bizarre. And it is really satisfying to steadily check items off your list.
38:40 The computer "forecasts" definitely work differently than I would have expected. I was expecting a guide for each season: which creatures were available, whether they appeared in daytime or nighttime, and where on the island to look for them. There are definitely some benefits to the way the computer system works, being able to track creatures in real time. But it has its drawbacks too.
1:02:45 Wow I wasn't expecting the blue lobster to be so hard to catch….
