Re the Akashic field, since we live in an Infinite Possibility Universe, everything that ever was, is or could be exists in the possible aspect of reality. What manifests into the actual world that we experience is dependent on which specific frequency we tune into — analogous to the Internet which is the nonlocal Infinite Mind of humanity – the good the bad the ugly and the sublime. What there is to master — is our ability to consciously choose what we click on — for the highest good of all.
