Now that the Legendary Crafting Components are dropping in the game we are able to make many of the automatic legendary weapons that have been laughing at us in our recipe lists for so long! I’m excited to be able to craft some of these items. But be careful which ones you decide to spend your resources on. Check out this video as a cautionary tale.
I crafted the Maker’s Mark legendary 590GS Hatchet during my New World experience today and was very sad to see that it was only a purple and missing one of the best perks. I get the feeling this is a guaranteed Purple 100% of the time and if so the tooltip needs to change. If you there’s a chance this can turn up as a Legendary somehow, please comment below and I’ll upvote your comment to let people know it’s possible. BUT IT IS NOT GUARANTEED LEGENDARY… And may never be. We shall see what happens in the future.

pretty sure if you were 200 engineering its would have been a 600 legendary thats my only guess
Much like this video being tagged as Neverwinter, New World is full of deceptive, misleading, and outright false information. It's the product of remote work, a poor understanding of language, and plenty of dev blog apologies, followed by more of the very things they keep apologizing for. I fell in and out of love with this game in what was, for me, record time.
