Just checking the comments to see if anyone has woke up….. nope still spreading the talking points that guns are the reason for our problems and not the people. We could stop 70 percent of all crime overnight but no one wants to actually stop crime. We could stop all inner city crime but we don’t because it’s oppressive. More people die from car accidents, malpractice, overdose, smoking, cancer and so on each year but oh no it’s the weapons. I hope we collapse soon

I am an indian and many of my relatives are citizens of USA 🇺🇸 and all of them are really sad and very concerned about the gun rules that puts their life always in danger. All civilized people and smart civilization have limited the use of any lethal weapons to security personnel.

I love how celebrities with easy access to armed home security guards and armed bodyguards are advocating strict gun control laws which hamstring millions of responsible, law-abiding, American gun owners. (Rolling eyes)

Let me put gun rights in a way that you anti-gun bleeding heart Liberals can understand. Suppose within the next few months due to a huge enough public outrage over shooting massacres the government finally passed nationwide laws banning all those horrible assault rifles and dreadful high capacity magazines from civilians and ordering all those items confiscated and destroyed similar to Australia's strict gun ban laws. Everyone is rejoicing at the USA becoming a new gun-free utopia! But a few months later, a series of events happen where 1) The far-right Republicans take over both the House and the Senate, 2) Either "wannabe dictator" former President Donald Trump gets reelected or someone worse than Trump gets elected President, and 3) The USA's free government suddenly became an oppressive government which makes The Handmaid's Tale's Republic of Gilead look like Disneyland. It's not Guns that are dangerous. It's the people who are using guns. mental health in the United States is deteriorating because of a large amount of factors, one of them being the unforgiving and incredibly influential social media platforms that can corrupt the minds of those who have mental illnesses. Taking away guns will not solve the problem. regulating and background checking the people who buy guns is important. putting extra security measures like police officers and metal detectors in our schools is what will save lives. mandatory quarterly visits by students to a school counselor or psychologist can help to see these warning signs long before these atrocities happen. unlike other countries, we reserve the rights to defend ourselves from criminals, while some people in London and other European cities are being stabbed and robbed in the streets at night or day with no way to defend themselves. we value our rights greatly, and we will never let them be taken away.
