  1. What a blast playing The Thing! I thought Grant was an alien 👽 as well. Throwing a Sabotage card would have exposed me, was hoping to get on the chopper😎
Can’t wait for next year…. You guys are the Best!

  2. Thanks for the kind words, guys! Hope you enjoy Volters Lead the Way! I'm sorry I missed you at WBC – I was all ready to go there and blew out a tendon in my foot. And by the way – love the Ramones shirt, Alex! Saw them live a couple of times back in the late '70's.

  3. Had to look up that malaria thing.
Malaria is an "old world" illness.
It was probably brought to the Americas in the 16th century.
So…. Is it really correct to have it in a Conquistador game?

  4. I am tempted to attend in 2023, but being form the UK if not competing would I need to go for the whole 10 days to attend the Seminars etc, as well as meet the designers and play some of the prototype games, and a great video review by the way, it has dented my budget as it has yours LOL

  5. I was only there for 1 full day, but I was very impressed by WBC. If you go to cons mainly to play games instead of walking through crowded vendor halls nothing beats it. I hope to go for a longer period next year. I had a great time playing a few games with you guys. Thanks for including me.

  6. You guys are great, very much enjoying this report.

“Twenty -twenty, twenty-four preorders to go
    I wanna a new wargame
Nothing to do, a clear table at home
    I wanna a new wargame

Just get me to the Con, put me on a plane
Hurry hurry hurry, before I go insane
I can’t control my fingers, I can’t control my brain
    Oh-no, oh-no, oh-no”

  7. I'm glad you got to be on the receiving end of Greg Smith's incredible generosity. I certainly have been in your position and am always appreciative of Greg's friendship

  8. My buddy and I attended WBC after a 25 year absence and had a fantastic time playing games, learning games, and making new friends. A true highlight was meeting you both and chatting briefly on Thursday right before an interview you were filming. Thanks!

  9. Actually think that branded TPA tweezers which are good for wargaming would be great. Most tweezers don’t open up enough for some counters, so a good one especially for wargaming would be excellent. I know a lot are using the General Tools ones, but they are hard to get in Europe.

  10. If you ever go back to WBC and you didn't , it's worth the time to go see Ft Ligonier and it's French and Indian War sights . Love the microphone setup you guys have.

  11. Excellent debriefing on the WBC work and play trip. A few games have peaked my interest, Smolensk being top of the pile but not available this side of the pond. Decision games mini series are a lot of fun, at least the ones I have are. Finally, bought a double CD of Ramones greatest hits at are car boot a few years ago, best 2.5 hours of entertainment for £1 I have ever had, so sad they are no longer with us. Thoroughly absorbing upload, thank you.
