  1. 44:37 Alright this bad narrative needs to die. Last year the Chargers made 11 touchdowns on drives with successful 4th down attempts and only allowed 1 touchdown and 6 field goals. That's 86 points scored vs. 25 allowed, a differential of 61 in the positive, second best in the NFL. The sole touchdown came on a 95 yard drive against the Chiefs. Not a single one off a short field.

The idea the 4th down attempts somehow were the problem is an asinine and lazy argument by the "ooga booga me no like numbers" crowd. The real issue was the defense. Could Staley be better at them? Yes. But it's nowhere near as big an issue as people claim.

  2. People need to put more respect on the Saints name. They go at least 10-7 this year maybe even 11-6. The Defense got even better and the offense is going to be better than last year also.

  3. Pittsburgh always somehow manages to get at least 7 wins, they haven't got less than 7 since 2003!
They got 9 last season with a statue at QB!
Guaranteed they get at least 8 this season – So I'm going OVER!

  5. These totals are to get people to bet O/U based on market data of bettors, not necessarily the reality of the situation. That said; it's a good place to start.

  6. Been away awhile… Walmart owns the Broncos? Are they going to Walmart the team? Are they going to take over all small businesses in small towns and local markets and crush the microeconomics? I'm not excited about Walmart owning the Broncos, though too don't really care anyways 🤷🏻‍♂️😂

  7. Why are y’all so high on the Dolphins? Bottom tier RB core, bottom tier O line, and one of the worst starting QBs in the league. How is that a 10 win team?!?! I’m genuinely gonna put a bunch of money on the under for them, and I see that as pretty much free money.

  8. Tom have you ever seen keeping up appearances? A bbc comedy from the 90's, the main characters last name is bucket but pronounces it bouquet! Just saying her catchphrase is 'it's pronounced bouquet'

  9. I am a Washington fan and know i live in my own football fandom, but i think you are way off on Washington. They had 7 wins last year with the toughest schedule in football with a decent back at Qb. You cant tell me Carson is not a major upgrade at that position. Also this year the teams are easier than last year. The reason everyone is so down on them is because the end of last year they had covid really bad and lots of injuries. Just something to think about.

  10. Don't agree with your take on Roquan. His draft class included Shaquille Leonard, Fred Warner, Tremaine Edmunds, Rashaan Evans, and Jerome Baker. He's second in combined tackles, has the most TFLs, and 3rd most sacks of those players. He has the 3rd most tackles and most solo tackles in the NFL since entering the league. He excels in stuffing the run, it's pass protection that he's weaker in.

The Bears should pay him and set the market for other linebackers but they're trying to screw him (and other linebackers by association) because he's negotiating without an agent. They have a ton of cap room moving forward so money isn't the issue. The stats say he's worth a big contract and from watching him the last 4 years, he passes the eye test. Stud player and stud human. Pay him now and by the time his contract is up again he'll be in the top 5-10 in pay anyway because of how contracts negotiated league wide. I'm a Bears fan but man they make it tough to support them sometimes. The exodus of talent this offseason was hard to believe.

    P.S.
If the Bears hired Jay Cutler as QB coach my head would probably explode. Love the show, you two make my workdays a lot better.

  11. Not sure why I see so many people highly doubting the Dolphins can win 10 games. Umm did they not win 10 games in 2020 and were one win away from winning 10 last season despite Brissett being QB for 4 of those games and having a 7 game losing streak. So why are some finding it so hard that they can win 10 games this season. Despite improving the team. By bringing in a much better offensive coach and system. Adding Hill and Wilson Jr at WR. Making the O-Line much better with Armstead and Williams. Improving the RB room with Edmonds, Mostert and Michel. While bringing back the same exact defense adding Ingram to it while young guys like Wilkins, Davis, Phillips, Jones and Holland should keep improving on the defense.
