  1. I SWARE I didnt know the next video was Deathwatch when I made my comment earlier, lol.

The Tome loses wound rerolls, it NEEDS to go down in points… I would argue it should stay the way it is… 45% win rate and its already priced as a premium as it is.

  2. Deathwatch Terminators alone are what make them worth it. They get the same rules as regular Assault Terminators, but also have the ability to take everything for weapon options. On top of that, they can bring three (3) Heavy Weapons per squad. You could have a squad with three Assault Cannons led by a Librarian for massive Sustained Hits 1

  3. SMALL UPDATE – apparently the APP version of the bolt list gets Heavy Bolters and Heavy Bolt Rifles – implies that they're probably intended to have it, so hopefully that can be fixed along with the other erata updates when they get round to it…

  4. Every time I heard “hopefully GW fixes this soon” I have to shake my head. Deathwatch is never kept up to date unless we have tournament success at which point we will be emergency nerfed into the ground at a speed GW normally seems incapable of. 😖

  5. I just started playing tabletop 40k in 10th. Ive fallen in love with the Deathwatch. My favourite moment so far was a game where I had Purgatus active, and sniped the enemy warlord with a repulsor executioner

  6. My Deathwatch boys have been doing alright, all told. So far I'm breaking even on victories and defeats (which, as a casual player, is just fine by me).

I highly recommend popping an Inquisitor into one of your DW Veteran teams for maximum CP return on Teleportarium spams. I've also found a great deal of success with 3 Sheild Terminators in my Proteus Kill Teams. Makes for ungodly degrees of durability. Guarantees your opponent will be REAL annoyed by how much firepower they need to bring that one squad down.

  7. With the Primaris release Deathwatch, to me, have lost so much about what made them unique.

We should not have access to regular units. It should be kill teams only. Kill teams should also do away with the FB-Primaris split.

Add fun rules, like adding FB gives “wisdom of the veterans”

  8. The terminators in the Proteus Kill Team have terminator thunder hammers that hit on a 3+, but the normal deathwatch terminators as well as the terminator assault squads all have hammers that hit on a 4+.

Is this something that other people knew about? Is is new? I can only assume it's a typo.

  9. I think it's reasonable to assume the "no scouts" and "no devastators", and no assault squad" restriction might go away when the codex comes out.
GW want to sell the new models, and they've been like this ever since DW didn't get intercessors or desolators put on the DW no fly list.

Or maybe the tac and dev squad will stay because GW wants people to stop playing first born, idk
