Death Valley National Park Scenic Drive 4K 2022

We visited Death Valley in March of 2022. This video covers a large portion of Death Valley National Park.

We visited Furnace Creek, the Harmony Borax Works, Stovepipe Wells, Mesquite Flat Sand Dunes, and Father Crowley overlook to the West. This portion of the park has a lot of terrain changes from mountains to salt flats.

We then travel to the Devils Golf Course, Natural Bridge Trail, and Artist’s Palette. Later in the day as the sun is starting to go down we went to Badwater Basin, past Zabriskie Point, and through the 20 Mule Team Canyon.

You will find a variety of landscape and colors, with wild temperature changes depending on whether you are at Badwater Basin (282 feet below sea level) or twenty miles away at Telescope Peak (11,049′ above sea level). Bring lots of water, sunscreen, and snacks. Dogs aren’t allowed on most (maybe all) of the trails, and it will be too hot to leave them in your car.

We are two career professionals who love to travel. When possible, we like to take our four rescue dogs with us. They all came from the local shelter, and they are the best dogs. Three of them are terriers (pitbulls) that we call house hippos. The fourth dog is a German Shepherd mix. He is our senior dog (turns 13 this year) and is a furry potato.

We purchased a Class A motor home from Forest River so we could bring the dogs with us and tow our Jeep Gladiator. Our travels both with and without the RV have taken us to Cancun Mexico, Canada, Tennessee, Kentucky, Florida, Arkansas, Texas, Colorado, South Dakota, Arizona, Nevada, and California. We also love to explore our home state of Indiana.

You’ll find videos and photos on our social media platforms from the places we travel. You will also find How To videos for camping hacks and Jeep modifications.
