  1. Another enjoyable episode Kage. I'm on Day 6 and I have my Bike, Dew Collector, Forge, and Workbench. So after a bit of a slow start, I'm starting to get going. Good luck with your playthrough.

  2. @kage848 what do you think about using that hybrid energy substation POI as a horde base? It might be tricky, but if you could get zombies to path down that winding path there, it could make for a neat killing corridor

  3. Kage you carry alot of junk thats why your inventory is always a mess. You dont need to carry all that food, drink, dukes, blocks and healing items. You can easily go out questing and looting with 6 or 7 if you use a normal melee weapon instead of the tools. items max. Pick, axe, shovel, melee weapon, gun, ammo and bandage.

  4. Well multiplayer and single player are always two different animals.
    Single player is an atmosphere, ambience, immersion kinda thing whereas multiplayer is a more social experience so the immersion and difficulty is some what less of a priority.

  5. I kinda have a problem with stamina thing on tools. Swinging a rock heavy enough to chop a tree or a stone shovel think enough not to break uses a lot more stamina than an iron tool which even tho it's iron I think would weigh less. A steel shovel or axe would be even easier to swing because it would be lighter because it would be thinner cuz steel is stronger. I think the stamina drain should go down not up.
    And weapons should work the same way. I don't think 7d2d does this but some games have the better weapons do more damage but fire more slowly so the DPS barely changes. That ain't right. But with weapons there are other considerations but tools def need to be fixed. Yes I know they always did that but it shouldn't be that way.
    It's like " oh you leveled up, here's a better tool …..NOT!" 😂😂😂

Here's a strategy for you Kage that I've been running in the latest release: One point in Master Chef to get the cooking magazines popping in loot so you can quickly unlock mineral water, and one point in Living off the Land to make harvesting chrysanthemum and golden rod faster/easier. Grind trader quests until you get 3-4 dew collectors and enough magazines to unlock the mineral water recipe. (tier 1 & 2 house/diner POIs with kitchens are clutch!) Make a stack of mineral waters which not only keeps you hydrated it lowers your food consumption – it will last you almost a week. Every other murky and clean water can go to glue –> duct tape. I took your advice to buy every clean water the traders have to really speed things up. When you get low on mineral water, crank out another stack of it then back to the glue. I also put a point in the Huntsman which I never did in prior Alphas because more bones, meat, leather, and fat are all necessary things now.
    I constantly have a stacks of glue and duct tape now. I'm also busier now 24/7 in the game than ever before. Definitely loving this update!

  7. Still having so much fun, there's so much good stuff to watch I literally can't keep up, this is a good problem to have! Buried supplies at least give you the clay for crafting stuff so they are not a waste, I think only level ones are food, the other tiers are mods and weapons unless it has been changed.
