  1. Some people will have you believe all these wildfires across the globe are caused by arson, some would have you believe that climate change is nothing but fear mongering and a huge conspiracy theory or that the wildfires are caused by government mismanagement, invasive plant species or some other crackpot take on what is truly happening. Make no mistake, a huge fraction of these comments are bots and paid shills funded by big oil and coal companies and many others are just ignorant or parotting what they've seen somewhere else and some still are actually insane. Don't let fossil fuel companies and delusional conspiracy theorists control the narrative, climate change is real and it is happening NOW.

  2. Just give it a couple weeks, the tour helicopter companies will be marketing, "Lahaina Fire tour. Experience the devastation, from the slopes upcountry to downtown Lahaina, Front street, and historic harbor, in our air conditioned, state of the art aircraft for a bird's eye view at only 500' altitude….". These a-holes have been a nuisance for DECADES in Hawaii, this is just another "opportunity" to make more money.

  3. They don’t spread lead particles in the air which drops on the buildings making it very flammable. They don’t do research on gane of function. You will not get sick, If you take the vaccine. you will not spread it either.

  4. This is so sad, I lived there for 3 years in the 80's. It breaks my heart to see Lahaina this. I'm so much more grateful for the mutual aid fire response we get on the mainland that can't be done on the islands.

  5. I feel so bad for all these multi million dollar homes and businesses being burned in hawaii. God forbid the rich would ever have the problems of the poor.
    Apparently money can't solve everything.

  6. Why are there GoFundMe Accounts setup? There is a liberal billionaire on every beach front lot. They have enough money to replant every tree, rebuild every structure and then pony up for a better fire and land management department that understand the value and the necessity of controlled burns..
