#DeathStranding #XboxSeriesX Gameplay Review with this story starring Norman Reedus, Mads Mikkelsen, Léa Seydoux, and Lindsay Wagner. It’s got stunning cinematics that go on forever.
It’s quite a tedious walking simulator and one of the most bland gaming experiences ever. It’s not fun, and enjoy the BB that cries constantly while terrifying dark whales come from the ground. The ultimate best Death Stranding Xbox Series X review and gameplay. #PS5

Game Description: From legendary game creator Hideo Kojima comes a genre-defying experience, now expanded in this definitive DIRECTOR’S CUT.
In the future, a mysterious event known as the Death Stranding has opened a doorway between the living and the dead, leading to grotesque creatures from the afterlife roaming the fallen world marred by a desolate society.
As Sam Bridges, your mission is to deliver hope to humanity by connecting the last survivors of a decimated America.
Can you reunite the shattered world, one step at a time?
Bought it instantly
I searched everywhere on Google but nothing
What Is The difference between performance mode and high quality mode on graphics settings??
Nevermind wat he saying… It's a good game. Enjoy
WTF!? This actually happened? 😳
Look 👀 so cloudy. Ps5 pro is much better 😁
Always wanted to play this I kinda like a good looking hiking sim! Picked it up for $25 (AUD)
Complete on ps4 deathstranding Complete ps5 directors cut.. Complete on windows deathstranding.. now xbox.. i can get enough..
After an hour of 5 minutes playing and 55 minutes of cut scenes….the game will no longer save.
havnt ever really looked into this game but it looks interesting how long is the game?
I really hope this means Helldivers 2 will be coming soon to Xbox then…
I just got it and I really like it. A very strange game and I am really digging it.
I tried to enjoy this game being a kojima fan, but couldn’t. Borefest.
too bad the PS5 Dual Sense controller can't be used for the xbox version. that controller is insane fun using with this game almost like the game was built specifically for that controller & the PS4 controller as well. wonder if xbox would make a controller than could have the exact same features as the Japanese Dual Sense controller having motion controls, haptic feedback, adaptive triggers, light bar, speakers, touch pad, built in mic, HD rumble like the joy cons (which is not all that great at all), touch sensitive triggers like PSVR 2 controllers, & more features. that would be amazing for xbox controllers which i doubt microsoft would even want to make
Good now days gone would be nice
You know sony must be hurting from that 500+ million loss. Great for us gamers!
My favorite game ever. Thanks for sharing
So now that Konjima fully owns the IP for this masterpiece, what does this mean for Death Stranding 2, surely that would come to Xbox as well? 🤔
My question would be: If it's so community-driven and all was already build, isn't it way to easy now?
I know this is not Dark Souls, but imagine all shortcuts unlocked. Maybe playing on hard-mode at least?
I don't know much about the lore, but does the gameworld really needs new players? If that makes sense…
Im currently playing Dragon Age but since this is 50% off I have bought it for the future
This is kojimas worst game. Mgs was way better. DHL or FedEx should buy the IP to train their employees….
I’m sure we won’t see games like god if war or spiderman… but I’d pay an absurd amount of money to finally experience bloodborne and hopefully a remaster someday on Xbox .
Does anyone know if there will be a physical release?
Can see the Widescreen Mode working really well for gamers who play on projectors.
Does it have Ray Tracing on Series X ????
Wasn't a fan of this game when I first tried it on PlayStation 5. Maybe I'll try the Director's Cut on my Xbox Series X, now that maybe the mechanics & gameplay have been streamlined for a better experience from my original one.
The Decima engine which through layers is technically the property of Sony now running on Xbox for the 1st time ever ( if I'm correct about it)…Wonder how Sony feels about it….
Norman Reedus always with the shots of his torn up back
Poor review. You say it's a 'walking sim' while it's more of a delivery sim since you have other options than your feet: various options of trikes, trucks, floating carrier as a skateboard and the zipline network which will turns into your main way of transport in the second half of the game. There is also a transporter. The fact that you call mention 'whining baby' means that you fell and made it cry which is a skill-issue. The music is baked in for the reason of making you feel immersed after a tough encounter or serves as a zen moment. The game will have structures built by other people and you are EXPECTED to do so as well to comply with the message of the game: connection and hope. You 'understand the obsession for this type of title' Oh.. so you mean to say that some people actually like playing games than aren't generic or a remaster? As for the story, you didn't mention that this was again a prophetic game where it fortold the future. The game came out before the pandemic, was about the pandemic and offered, in a sense, a solution for the hard lockdowns caused by the pandemic: it's mundane, zen like gameplay, sense of community and worldbuilding contributes to a therapeutic experience where cooperation (and the likes as incentive) is a driving force instead of treating everyone as competition like so many other games. Calling it Bizarre and weird is fair, but then you must also state that everything will make sense at the end. Another way to look at it is that it's high-tier science fiction/supernatural. Most people are easy to detract on this since they're only want easy to digest content on their screen. This game misdirects and invites the player to speculate. For the sequel, if you're going to make content on it, try to actually know what you're talking about.
In the years later for on OD will also be release on PlayStation as well.
Days Gone on Xbox would be a great addition next( not saying it will happen but it would be great)
I picked up the game and it looks beautiful.
I knew it looked good but it still shocked me.
This is the problem with not playing the game long enough. There's a lot more fun in this game to be had then What he puting to together hare overe 75 Scheme to make Building and crafting helping Others boss fingt Collecting resources Upgrading structures Riding All sorts of different Vehicles and Much more As you progress and Unlock more He's Talking About the prologue it Take a long time be for You really See this in tell 7h in butt What do you expect from somebody that says he's not even looking forward to Sequel Just takes me back to Mel.Get solid and I really think it good game Comple. it pc and ps5 now on xbox it Blast for the pass if you like this game if You want to escape life for a Bit well help u Relax and enjoy this hidden gem of a game
Saw this today and purchased straight away..
Yeah, whatever dude, the game is literally no different today than what it was on release. The community building was always a thing and it got better the more you progressed through the game… 🤦🏼♂️
Hated it on PlayStation hate it on Xbox. But for real tho all of you Xbox fan boys are the biggest hypocrites out there. This is the “ walking simulator “ that you all talked sooo much trash on, but now that it’s on Xbox you all of a sudden love it huh?
I just got it on my xbox series s and haven't had it crash at all, and im not using performance mode or anything. im also on the second to last mission of connecting america
Ngl as a Xbox player, you think after 4 years the game would save. I literally got to the Higgs boss encounter, died and then was sent to the title screen with no save. Like the progression is so slow paced and I’m reconsidering my play time on the game. And why is the weight system so brutal and to be placed in a mountain range immediately makes it frustrating.
Saves are broken if you use quick start my save has completely disappeared. I’d rather not have to repeat the process again. I’m going to think of a refund or wait awhile for a fix. As that first step is the longest I wish they would give you a weapon other than a rope and vehicle in the beginning. I got to the first Higgs BT encounter and died was sent to the main screen with no save, like 4-6hrs down the drain.
I want to try this game but I'm worried about the amount of walking. I get bored easily if the game is the same thing over and over.
Bought it instantly but there is a fix needed for the game to be able to save the game with quick resume… Played the first 2 episodes but won't save anything beyond the prologue
After playing it on the PS 5 optimized I truly had no idea my Series X would outshine on detail and performance vrs the PS5. Now this won't matter to me on the PS5 Pro since it's not worth buying so don't bring that up bring that into these current console comparisons.
The only lacking in the Series X in that game was the environmental sound quality vrs PS5. I have never really liked Microsofts lacking in a good sound chip vrs Sony even though both no longer support optical connections. The Dolby in PS 5 has more refined studio and movie sound while the Series X lack in definition in Dolby when hitting highs, lows and surround sound.
I appreciate Kojima for making this move to bring a Sony exclusive over to Microsoft. Gamers are tired of exclusive content especially when PC can deliver these games no matter what console exclusive they are.
Even going as far as cross platforming for multi player games has encouraged the move away from exclusive content.
Consoles were originally developed to replace arcade games years ago in order to push more content. They figured home buyers would rake them in more money than trying to push arcade games.
Eventually PC started becoming more popular for the gaming experience offering better graphics and multiple player vrs consoles two player or lan option.
Over the years console players wanted PC quality gaming and multi player on a console at a far less price than building a PC. Now that Consoles have achieved PC quality games the problem now lays in company policies on what content their products carry vrs the competition.
Both Sony and Microsoft have sold many console to consumers who bought both and this is trickling down as gamers are just sticking to one console since they can cross platform. This leaves the sales of games in question especially exclusives not selling as they did previously and now has opened the door to market on their competitors.
Gaming has truly come a long ways.
Ultrawide mode is 4k?
It's even available free with Luna+… Yeah it still exists
why no 1440p?
The series X had this setting on the console settings menu.
1440p , 60fps
The game is fantastic and I thoroughly enjoyed it when I played it on PS4 back in the day. NIt's not a walking simulator, as the content creator stated, it's a delivery simulator. The whole premise of the game is deliveries by foot, by vehicles, etc. it's very different, but it's very good. The challenge is in your ability to successfully deliver your load, and balance your load to increase your chances of success.
If you have the attention span greater than of a goldfish, try it.
