Man, the series s is pretty good value for what it is. you can find these things used for under 200 and get games that look and play like this. pretty crazy.
Good for Kojima. Exclusively is not ideal. Only Nintendo because they are like the Disneyland of Japan and no other can replicate that even if they try. Plus, more access equals more money per platform.

I started about a week ago, and I thought I was going to suffer playing through to the end but it picks up when you unlock the motorcycle pretty early in the game. The story is amazing so far.

This game is one of those split down the middle 50/50’s. Just like my example: subnautica, I hated it at first, then I lost myself in it. Now Death Stranding, also a love it or hate it game. I love it for the story without a shadow of a doubt. I hope Death Stranding 2 will now be developed for Xbox!
The fact that it runs at 60fps in quality mode is blowing my mind. Series S is the little engine that could haha.
engines like "RAGE" and "Decima" is way above and beyond any other engines. Series S is just a fine little console, developers just gotta learn to optimize a game better i believe.

I’d assume it’s on par with the ps4 pro version of the game considering how similar it is to the series s hardware wise.
I played this on PS4 and thought it was one of the best game experiences I ever had, up there with my all-time favourites. This is the directors cut as well. Amazing to see this on xbox platform. If you get this, just stick with it for the first few hours, after that It opens up to be quite a unique experience. I was totally addicted to this game lol.
I'm trying very hard to see the rain, where is the rain? The game is based on rain. If the rain falls, monsters come soo where is the rain?
framerate aside… is it inferior TO A PS freakin' 4 version? The motion is ghosted to hella n back. gross, such a downgrade.

So much for the Series S holding back Xbox. It's a little powerhouse for the money and shows what can be done when devs optimise their engines correctly. I was always regretting not getting the X but honestly as time goes on I'm more than happy with the performance it's given me. Coupled with game pass it's a no brainier imo.

The same way the Series S can run RE4R in 60 FPS. It's all a question of optimization. Do your job, developers. I know it's easier to just throw in fake frames with DLSS. But y'all are called developers for a reason.
