  1. I enjoyed the first one as a unique and interesting gaming experience, though all the mind-babble beach stuff left me shrugging. It was the gameplay, not the storyline, that kept me playing.
Not sure I want to put myself through all that again though.

  2. Nevermind what's going on. I'm left gobsmacked and frankly disappointed with Kojima. Instead of focusing on an entirely different project, he has bizarrely decided to pursue a sequel that only appears to create more idiotic layers to an already flop of a storyline, albeit the rather unprecedented and at times interesting gameplay that we witnessed in the first game. Not a complete disaster, but certainly hovers over the mediocrity line.

  3. I’m surprised you didn’t mention the mech carrying the logo of a new Bridges company … Drawbridge. And since the first game loved double- and triple-entendres in it’s naming, I think you can read very literally that crossing water is going to be more of a core mechanic in this game.

  4. The dreamcatcher thing is pretty much debunked: if you look closely, there's a plant in the room. It's in the same place in the shot with Sam's dreamcatcher and in the shot with Fragile exiting the room.

About the flashback: there's a Drawbridge logo on the unicycle. It ain't a flashback.
