The Gastonia Police Department is investigating a person’s death Wednesday evening.
In a tweet, the department said they were called to Beechwood Drive near North Webb Street on the west side of town around 6:23 p.m. The investigation is happening in a wooded area, near train tracks that run along Airline Avenue.
