Airbus found out how much more comfort increases with every milimeter so in A350 NPS will boost widness from 18 to 18.7 inches.
By the way: The weight of an economy seat is only 4-5kg. That one of a business 75-85 kg -emty – what that mean for efficiency and climate you can imagine …
They are starved in Thailand remand and Thailand is a very rich country. There criminal
Airlines always wants to make Profit doesnt matter how.
But there are international Rules wich the airlines must follow.Otherwise they will be fined and banned.normally but the whole system is corrupt.system of dawn
There must be something special about this period. Thai Smile is showing no seats available HKT-BKK until a single seat left on the evening of the 27th! Next is one on the morning of the 28th.
Thatβs just the 26th and 27th. Nok is also double priced then but Monday in drops back to reasonable fares.
Iβll be quiet happy if tour groups are slim in Aprilβ¦no rude annoying behaviour always makes thing good.
I haven't seen any of those exorbitant airline fares.
Chinese authorities have demolished more than 16000 mosques in Xinjiang, shame on China !!! A genozide is happening since years, CCP is fooling all nations and the planet looks away. Not one of the rich arabic countries speak for them – too busy with football and exports
Happily I'm an expat living in Thailand. Fly to Vietnam several times a year. Always reasonable.
Keep up the great work Tim! Thanks
In addition to the lack of Freedom of speech against the government and Les Majeste in general, the Human RIghts abuses mirrored by the current military junta regime, (such as those mentioned in this report and on the ethic minorities in the Kingdom in general) do any viewers/listeners who consider "retiring" in Thailand, worry about these kind of implications of the suspension of freedom in Thailand (and it's increasingly apparent masters to the north) going forward? Not exactly a family friendly paradise nor one any kind of retiree, with critical opinions, want to fess up to I'm sure and yet the enveloping political clouds covers everything, do they not? Yes, I am aware about keeping one's own nose clean. Thanks Tim and followers.
The last opportunity to make some real T money, before real accounting scrutiny when the merger goes through. Thatβs the reason for huge record losses last year.
i paid 20,000 baht for two people a month ago return flight from puket to bangkok
Except for a few well informed farangs in the comment section, more dumb farangs spewing their racist garbage. First it was send all the Russians, Chinese, Indians, etc. home. Now it's send the Uyghurs back. Most farangs look at Russians and Chinese and see criminals. They look at Uyghurs and see terrorists. And they seem proud of their racism and lack of compassion. Keep in mind that many of these farangs are from the UK with its history of invading and colonizing 171 countries. Many others are from the US with its long history of invading and bombing countries. They have never gotten along with non-white people and continue to see them as inferior. Horrible farangs.
Thank you for adding chapters! Much appreciated.
Regarding Domestic Airfares in Thailand. What does 'WTF' mean? "Want To Fly"? but not at those insane prices.
Bangkok airways built and own Koh Samui airport, would be very kind of them to let others use their facilities.
Hi Tim!
I can't say that I'm surprised at the lack of Chinese visitors, despite the hype at their possible return, given the lack of flights and the increasing tensions between China and the West.
Good job mate. π
Thailand is killing their tourism sector by trashing the biggest advantage they had over other destinations…cost.
Thailand does with the Uygher men as the Chinese says to do. Thailand as a province of China has to do it.
Thanks Tim. Enjoyed reading all the comments π
Re the Uyghur story.. if we can't show empathy to others, who is coming to our aid if the shoe is on the other foot. As the Uyghurs returned to China, let me guess.. organ donors?
China is done for. Soon, the door will slam shut as CCP panic at the exodus of anyone there who can afford it. Then, it's really downhill from there. Apple pulling out, US Govt. threatening its own citizens to chose between their China posting or their US passport, Sony pulling out, these are just two in the news. China won't exist as we know it in a decade. So, don't expect a broke middle class to rush back. There's a house across from me in my Baan, youngish retired Chinese couple went home for Chinese New Year in 2020, they're still not back, their car is covered in dust.
Looks like the HKT-BKK route is close to sold out in the near term. Still close to normal on other routes I've been looking at. Even HKT-BKK and the reverse is fine if you look at least a week out.
How about christian in middle East where was the human rights till today???
I was disappointed with Singapore airlines and scoot.
Hi.. So sad for this Uighur's death.
Finally started travelling again. Turns out the whole travel ecosystem is exploiting those that βwantβ to travel. 6 months ago a group of three cost 5000B. Now a group of 1 is 18000B to the same destination. Hotel costs are insane (5 days 30000THB), when I got a deal Agodas app crashed, when I tried to re-book the price jumped 12kTHB, now 32000THB.. A high speed train could be preferable.
Just checked Kayak ….. flights around 1000B.
Glad I did my Thai visit in November last. Return fare BKK to Chiang Mai was only the equivalent of $70 US on Bangkok Airways. That was a good deal.
Well done, dear Tim, fresh and clear!
Tim Newton .any way they r curly right not human rights???
The first covered story on this program is deeply troubling and concerning.
I certainly appreciated those episodes from Australia at 8:04 and realized that those were damned expensive data wise to broadcast! That last one with the Sidney Opera House (where Arnold Schwarzenegger won his last & controversial 1980 Mr. Olympia title) in the background was truly spectacular!
I prefer communists over islamists.
wish the UK would treat those that do not belong the same way
Flights from america to Bangkok are insane also
Thanks for the nice entertainment. β€
Do you know anything about the rumors saying Thai Airways will reopen the Bangkok-Oslo flight?
As much as I know Thailand did NOT sign the 1951 Refugee Convention and has no laws in place to provide refugees with any legal status. So why do you and the BBC call them Asylum Seekers ?
Clearly people differ in their opinions between what are genuine refugees and what are illegal immigrants. But the truth is that most people who have had some direct involvement in this matter with the people involved, know that most of them are illegal immigrants who claim to be refugees because that gives them 'legal rights and benefits'. Thailand has not signed the UN Refugee Convention, thankfully, so they have no legal obligations to treat them better than some of their own citizens.
Thumbs up Khun Tim, thank you for checking up on the auction, I was happily informed that I was awarded one of the large elephants π
π
The Thai government treated the Muslems like a third world country would treat them. I wonder if a Muslim country would take them. Sending them back to China might be sending them back to a death sentence and we would never know it. There certainly needs to be a change.
Great work Tim
The armour plated Ute/pick up 1 tonne? Youβre Honda would weigh more than that π
