in Romans chapter 6 St Paul describes baptism as a crucifixion with Christ, a death with Christ, a burial with Christ, and a new life with Christ. what a picture to rejoice in!

Praise be to you our Lord Jesus Christ, simple and easy are your words but powerful in the Spirit
‘The freshness of the resurrection’.
Hey, what happened to the SDH music?
❤❤❤
This reminds me of an epiphany Ive had these last couple of days very similar, that no just is the thief on the cross not disprove baptism's salvific grace, but it proves it, he is the image of us, all who are baptized are murdering criminals like him who have been united to Christ's cross so that we can call God Our Father and Christ can say everyday we live in faith and repentance, this day you will be with me in heaven.
❤❤❤
Yes pastor, God be praised!
What a tremendous message. Full of hope and peacefulness in the heart. This is what I want to hear when listening to a preacher, God's word and promises being preached! Thank you again pastor Wolfmueller ☺️☺️
Now, but not yet. Hallelujah! Amen.

Thank you for this video clip, it gives great comfort and hope to many and not least to me…thank you!
1st Corinthiane 1:14 I thank God I baptized none of you except!?
With or by, is there a difference? Or is it both?
What does it mean to "believe in Him", my quandry, at church, I met lots of good people, within their "in-thing". But to the outsiders they seem to have the attitudes of goats. This is dangerous stuff, Mt 25:31 ff.
Yet outside organized church, I met people who have attitudes of the sheep, Mt 25:31. Consider the faith of Abraham, can people outside typical church arrive at that kind of faith?
Really, many Christians, most, can't give up their spot in a pew for a stranger, who are we fooling, they weren't going to believe like Abraham and essentially give up everything. I don't have answers.
This I do know "…. I do believe, help my unbelief!? Mk 9:24.
What does believing saving faith look like per Mt 25:31, is that belief like the faith of Abraham?….
and ours not? 😮
Hanging out with my click, people like me, common, natural, easy… being sheep… not for works that make me "good", but out of real empathy and compassion – that ain't natural. How do I get that? Ya gotta wanna, why are we afraid to wanna?
Status, peer approval?
Be honest, many people cannot see past typos to see the important things, they will not do well in a pew with a dusty, dirty, worn out Jesus, who might smell next to them.
(I leave some typos by design, a social selection thing, I don't write for everyone. 😮 ).
Explosive Imagery – I appreciate the reformers concept of the regulative principal, the excess of symbols in some sanctuaries is there because the word is not. But I find the often stark sanctuaries of reformed churches very unnatural. Note, both extremes are a social selection process. And the people are or will become something that reflects those extremes. I suggest googling on the importance of imagery on the web, start with Wikipedia. Things like the Meta Verse is going to put the human mind in created "art" like never before, for extremes of good and bad. Consider, I know of a famous theologian who reflected that the human mind has a need for horror. The image of the smoke of the burning and tormented damned rising forever in heaven is an image to ponder. Sin must really be terrible, the justice of a Holy god horrific beyond comprehension, and immensely glorifying of his divine nature. Forever glorifying the chasm between his and not his – through baptism. (To glorify God, is to make his invisible attributes visible)
Love it!❤
This is such a wonderful video and has helped me so much. God bless you.
Is baptism a once and done? If so, then how is it "in"? Are there elements, maybe very significant ones, of baptism in John 17:22 ff? Can we say no baptism took place at the cross? Answere no, if you think of the rite as the totality of the topic. That's like saying God is not triune, God being one the totality, Not. See… to "get god", the totality is beyond "one", something much more profound, and wonderful, "in" is wonderful, baptism described only as a rite is far from its totality
Ity. The word was transliterated "baptism" vs something like "washings" or "death", becuse we lack a word for the totality of it. Help me out if I'm wrong?
"We are living the eternal life", that's a profound sleeper of a statement, with profund implications. Thx Pr.
Excellent video. You always speak so well with such good clarification. God Bless
