“ The forgotten atrocities of the early 1970s. A former Momma’s boy and Candyshop president named Dean Corll abducted, raped, and tortured more than 28 boys and young men before murdering them. Overshadowed by the Killer Clown and the Son of Sam, this story is mostly forgotten today. And Houston, America’s “City of the Future,” came under fire by the media worldwide.”

  1. He may have been abused so his parents were afraid to bring him for treatment. Or the parents were not well educated in health issues or he may have been a child who didn't " act" sick so the parents medicated him at home thinking it will just go away. It's not always purposeful neglect. If they were poor, doctors bills are expensive. No body goes.

  2. Omg.. the “Mama, I killed Dean” has been ingrained in my head ever since I first heard this case on a podcast a few years back. The whole thing is a hellish nightmare. Definitely one of the worst I’ve heard up there with the Junko Furuta case. RIP to all that lost their lives at the hands of these monsters.

  3. Wayne should stay in prison the rest of his life! It's ridiculous he keeps applying for parole and putting the families through reliving the crimes he helped Dean commit. Wayne's disgusting.

  4. I like this podcast, but you definitely have a bone to pick with Christianity. Seems like you have had something happen in your past that just turned you off. It bleeds into your podcast.

  5. This case is so crazy, im from Houston and actually work right down the street from the heights. If you ask, everyone knows this story but NOBODY talks about its exactly like you said it was swept under the rug even now. A friend of mine her uncle was one of the victims and her mom never speaks a word about it. And in my opinion is one of the worst serial cases in history but there isn't a word spoken about it, its insane.

  6. What I don't understand is why people still respect the police…its been what 50 to 60 years and they still won't take missing people seriously they still won't respond to domestic violence… and noise complaints are sent to local councils so why do I actually pay tax I can't stand the police

  7. All of those parole hearings are even more torture on those victim's family members & really, they're victims of it all too!Makes me mad too about how police went about things & being more concerned about other things than saving lives!

  8. I was a kid living in magnolia Texas just like 40 miles from Houston Texas when this happened, my mom had just finished supper and we were all eating when the news showed the bodies being dug up from the beach and they shown the decomposed bodies with the rotting corpses and needles to say that ruined supper, with the out pouring of complaints to the media about showing the corpses they changed their way of showing graphic images

  9. I had heard Dean was possessed by CRAPOLA. is this true? You should do a live stream Ouija board session to conjure CRAPOLA. How awesome would that show be, a real life demon as a guest!!! Maybe possess one of those dip shits and give us some real entertainment. Think about it, it's a great idea. Until next time.
