  1. I live near Santa Rosa, California, where the coffee park fire was the whole area burnt to the ground. Something should have been done, and then changes needed to be made it happened before, and now it's happened again, where is the prevention and being prepared.

  2. We survived the Valley fire of 2015 in Lake County which is in northern California. Over 1000 structures burned. Nine years later the landscape has still not recovered, and I probably will never see it as it was. Many of our friends lost homes and some people died as well. So many homes were not rebuilt. Many people left the area to live elsewhere. We have been in an insurance crisis ever since. To me it kinda doesn’t make sense since we already burned. My heart goes out to those affected. All this news brings on a little bit of PTS.

  3. How is mail going to delivered? What a mess this is. I was born in Pomona. What are people going to go. Many lost their cars, at least you could sleep in it. I’m so so sorry so many of you have lost your homes. Be grateful you’re alive.

  4. Sad you can see here the trees are not the problem, the houses were not built with fire retardant materials. Of all places LA and California should require all new homes to be built with fire retardant materials regardless of cost. Only the wealthy have homes anyway so enforce the safety hazards Ca..
