Here is the firearm homicide rate per 100,000 broken down by white, black and Hispanic Americans courtesy of the CDC.
White – 1.7
Hispanic – 6.4
Black – 19.8
Stop blaming guns. It’s been going on long enough. It’s time to address the real issue and those actually responsible for all this crime and violence.

Our neighboring states have common sense gun laws, but for some reason they don’t have nearly as much gun violence. Why is it that when law abiding citizens have their gun rights restricted, the criminals seem to feel more emboldened? Maybe they understand that people without guns are easier targets- and maybe that’s why so many shootings happen in “gun-free zones”
I’m not sure the Mayor’s plan is working maybe he has different thoughts than mine.

It’s not kids it’s theses teenagers and young adults. I lost a lot of friends in 2018 over gun violence. And still now.
If you find out where these kids or getting the guns from that would be a start. These kids don't have jobs where are they getting the money to buy them.They are not stealing them all. If the relative has guns at home they should have them lock in a safe place. The problem is the adults are scared someone is going to break in and they want their gun close so they sitting around with their guns.When i was growing up when my parents said don't touch something you didn't touch .Kids don't see any coincidences there are done.
