  1. Those in positions of power, who were typically from elite society, cared nothing for the "plebs" in the trenches. They were just numbers to be played with and sent to their death.

  2. My great great uncle fought and died in WW1 during the battle of Passchendaele. He served the British army and his name is one of many thousands of British, Canadian, Australian, Indian, French and German troops written onto the walls. His body sank into the mud and was never recovered again. Lest we forget πŸ‡¬πŸ‡§πŸ‡¨πŸ‡¦πŸ‡­πŸ‡²πŸ‡³πŸ‡ΏπŸ‡§πŸ‡ͺπŸ‡¨πŸ‡΅πŸ‡©πŸ‡ͺ

  3. Why would a 15yo lie so he can go to war ? People were that dumb in the past ?
    I would lie that I am 15yo and say I identify as a girl just to not be drafted…even more I would cut my trigger finger to make sure that I would be useless and there would be no reason to draft me.
