  2. They should've made it so the zombies can keep coming back alive until you destroy their brains. If they had that with a way to properly control the direction of your swings the combat would be much better imo. The weapon you see in first person also doesn't seem to match the collision 'object' that's actually interacting with the enemies, hits just feel slightly misplaced all the time. If you look at the way your character's shadow looks while attacking you can see the actual collision object that's being used in the 3d world.

  3. I like how the gore system reinforces the fact these are actual zombies and not just humans infected by some virus. Only the "living dead" could lose half their abdomen and keep on lurching. Some of them look grotesque like you'd expect a reanimated decaying corpse to look, even before you start blowing chunks out of them.
