Those that complaining about the game story for being around 6-7 hours totally forgot that Dead Island has always been about the players exploring the map themselves and doing side quests and stuffs. Story has never been the focus of the game but the gameplay.

I like Dead Island 1 and Dead Island Riptide way more and they are so much better to me.

lol this was the game that everyone said would be what Dying Light 2 should have been.
It's a very short, relatively fun, but repetitive, arcade game. It is absolutely nothing like Dying Light 2, or 1. The voice acting is pretty bad too.
I have to admit I was very disappointed.

The gameplay looks nice, but the characters and writing is so terrible and insufferable.
It's the kind of Millennial writing, some balding loosers in their 30s come up with, thinking how good their own farts smell.
The same kind of verbose, unnecessary long and ultimately cringe writing that utterly ruined Borderlands 3 and eg. new Saints Row.
It had it's place in like 2012, but everybody has moved on from this. Stop doing games like this.
And looking at the characters, only Ryan seems like a normal person. The other 5 seem like overemphasized cartoons of the worst kind of people a hellhole like california has spawned into this poor world.

this is my second time of finishing a game play because my vertigo just couldnt lol. i love this! even though i find it really annoying that it takes 2-3 hours i guess before he finally got a gun and the fact that these zombies are so hard to kill argh. nevertheless, i enjoy this!
