I’ll have to check it out when it comes out that’s a lotta bark and hopefully back it up with that bite and hope the game isn’t just another failed sequel.

He is right about Dying Light 2 mistakes, but tbh – their game sucks even more. It's like a game from 2010 but with new graphics and "challenge" (which becomes routine). It's too repetitive and story is written really poorly. So 9/10 for design and 3/10 for everything else. In my opinion, dying light is at least fun to play.

I’ve been in denial about the change from dying light 2 to dying light 2 : stay human, Steve was right to dunk on them, even if it weren’t for that reason lol
Dying light 2 was such a let down
No parkour
As a dying light fan, i can say that dying light's lore has alot of flaws starting with human-human conflict in midst of zombie apocalypse which is a little strange, 2nd the game focuses alot on human-human conflicts that they made the following the dlc where you focus on how volatiles form up and how the mother talks telepathically which lacks much more depth in zombie's lore or origins, dying light actually has good zombie system…they just lack the inspiration to give it a story…which is sad…dying light 1 and 2 is very much unexplored 100%…you only get to see the surface percentage of what actually is happening on the world and not much from zombies/volatiles…

DL2 n DI2 are two different games one a drama and the other is zombie smashing fun

It definitely feels like with the absurd oversaturation of zombie media that people don't even really think about the Horror of a zombie apocalypse anymore.
Zombies are treated as fodder, but in REAL life, or in the times before zombie movies were everywhere….the concept of human corpses rising and coming for people….WAS a horrific thing. Just being in the presence of a sentient corpse would be the scariest experience you've ever had, you'd never sleep knowing those things were just outside.
In my opinion the dying light franchise is still better, to me it feels like an old 80s zombie movie but with parkour and the lore is amazing. Just my opinion.
