  1. Annoyed is a good word for it … I already did not like that we got digital only content, and now we get limited release digital only content? What a bummer.

Despite it being digital only, I really liked the 4 Spelljammer intro adventures on D&D Beyond, and those were free! What happened?

  2. This preorder stuff is everywhere. It’s certainly better than say the Valentine’s Day Staley cup from target. I will take limited time over buying a case of miniatures from an exclusive promo wizkids wt etc etc. I do agree it’s not the best but it’s a 1 shot adventure and I really need more information before im buying.

  3. I actually think it would be cool if the Nasa people helped Wizards with their Spelljammer mechanics. I heard that people were disappointed because the spell jammer ships in the D&D materials don't have an explanation re how they work.

  4. Pre-Order is a trap.

If you planned to buy the product. Youll buy it.
If you didnt plan on buying it, you wont.
Trying to bribe you into buying it before it can be viewed by the public?
    Shady AF.
Fallout 76 taught me that and I will never forget it.
    NEVER Pre-order.
    Ever.

Oh, and love your channel…but PLEASE stop with that silly ass FOMO shit.
    It doesnt exist.
It is called the Law of Scarcity.
And it has been around for centuries.

  5. Nothing wrong with preorder extras. Preorder “can” numbers drive a lot if other factors like helping to forecast print runs or general interest to start development on similar content. To encourage this they understandably want to give people an incentive to put their money down early. I’m not preordering but I don’t see anything wrong with this as a business model. I think we should stop whining about getting extra content.

  6. They are going to move more and more to the dreaded add-on and preorder style videogames have adopted and created shotty products and partial products delivered at full price… not a fan

  7. Are you using clips from Hazbin Hotel now?
I gotta be honest I can barely stand the clips from movies/shows that get shoehorned in between segments. I am moreso tired of that show, as much as I love your updates this might be too much, time will tell

  8. Wizards execs showing their video game backgrounds. not cosmetics, not feelies, but actual core content. The actual gaming experience at the table will be objectively worse for those who don't pre-order because they miss a chapter of the adventure (it doesn't matter that it's a one-shot; it's still part of the overall Vecna story that those who wait for reviews or other info don't get). This is the same monetizing FOMO crap that videogame publishers have been pulling for years. It's one thing to offer extras for pre-orders, but not to withhold part of the product for people that don't.

  9. Why didn’t NASA use a science fiction game for their adventure?! If it was a new system I can understand, but just an adventure, they should have used a popular sci-fi system!! Hmm what system would that be?

  10. Sorry but that's not a cash grab, just a little fun way to encourage people to preorder the book. Not that big of a deal and in no way underhanded. Appealing to FOMO isn't necessarily unethical. Literally any sale ever users this tactic.

  11. Awesome! Yesterday, I had downloaded all the NASA TTRPG game documents…pretty good material, with a Tolkien-esque map of Exlaris, Aldastron. …I started creating the setting/terrain for it, as I imagine it…Looking forward to playing this, with our kiddos, once I return from a work trip later this week! 🙂 Love it!
