  1. Thor is portrayed in the Norse sagas as; "somewhat douchey, bro-jock meathead football hero, who means well but causes a LOT of property damage and doesn't think before he Derps". …. AND BOY HOWDY DID MARVEL HIT THE MARK.

  3. I'll just take this opportunity to give you a little poem that my dad used to recite to me when I was a kid:
The god of war went out to ride upon his favourite filly.
    "I'm Thor!" he cried,
    His horse replied:
    "You forgot your thaddle, thilly!"

  4. it's gonna be a love hate relationship with loki, he's an antagonist but tom hiddleston played him in a charismatic manner, that exchange with Odin about his true parentage, was my favorite scene in this movie, brilliant actors.

  5. These movies get better & better with each one! I started watching your TWD reactions then, FTWD & TLOU. Now, here we are. Seems I’m watching you many times a week now. I’m enjoying every single video.

  6. Seriously underrated movie imo.

I was working at the cinemas during this time, and every time, I had to just marvel at the beauty of Asgard and retraining for Thor on Earth.

"Know this, Son of Coulson. From this day forth, you can count me as your ally.." lol.

This was the movie that gave everyone their 1st favourite villain in Loki and established Thor as someone NTBFW.
Not to mention, Heimdall, A well played Odin, and the warriors 3 getting decent enough screen time.

Personally, Thor 1 and The First Avenger are my favourites from Phase 1.

  7. If you're familiar with "Babylon 5", the very first guy to attempt to pick up the hammer was J. Michael Straczynski, the creator of that show. He's also done some writing for various Marvel titles.

  8. This is one where the comic book fans were nervous. Some characters are difficult to do well in a movie format. I was so pleasantly surprised by this, they pulled it off so well.

  9. This one has really grown on me. There's a great use of space in this movie with the juxtaposition of a lonely Arizona town and the marvelous splendor of Asgard. Portman and Hemsworth have good chemistry. It so clearly and succinctly introduces Loki who continues to be one of the best Marvel characters in the MCU. Lower top tier for me.

  10. Bifrost is the rainbow bridge connecting the God's world to the human world. Reimagening it as a transporter device is somewhat clever.

The word probably evolved from Bil rost, half literally translatable to temporary rainbow.

  11. Gosh I love these reactions! Watching these reactions makes me want you guys to watch Agents of Shield. That show is so good and I think you'd both love the characters so much.
