The 0.5.1 Update is here! Society has collapsed! Time to explore the map, fight off the zombies, defeat the bandits, rescue the survivors, and build our base as we attempt to survive remnants of a deadly mist pandemic.
It’s an improvement on the last update that’s for sure. Personally I think it still looks like he’s made it too difficult in comparison to original. Obviously many people prefer that, but things like bag upgrades, car parts, weapons, work benches, lockers etc should be more plentiful I feel. he has tried to make it hardcore, which is fine, but I wont enjoy it as much. Perhaps in the future we could have different modes. But I have downloaded the update and will watch a few other players before I get back into it.
LMAO I have 5 words for you. Less sugar or less caffeine !!!. I can tell your excited for this update lol. You are grabbing all items & making piles i am gonna do opposite & not pick up anything i am not gonna need right at the beginning in case the stuff you moved despawns . Things tended to stay where they spawned before in old versions we shall see which is better for this update for the better. I was dying watching you walk past that shotgun in one of the 1st buildings you went through even though i think it was same 1 shot shotgun like other you picked up. I am liking that barn for a base to start in pretty central location & looks like might make a nice defense for easily taking out zombies with spear from above with ease. Looks like decent space for workbenches etc too.Also liking the movable cook stations now too. WEll enough chat gonna update give this version a playthrough or two.
Sadly progress is going backwards since the update dropped, the map is nowhere near as good or polished as the previous one, there are more bugs than ever in the game 3 "quick fix" patch updates have dropped since the game updated & enemies spawn in front of your eyes more frequently now, Hell I cam across a bandit that wouldn't die despite taking a shotgun shell to the face
Do you know what amazes me about you, The Learned Journeyman? You have a full-time job, and yet so prolific at uploading video after video. I'm astonished that you can do so much, obviously burning your candle so brightly from both ends! RIBBIT, BABY!!!
How do you pull up the map on the keyboard, we are using the steam deck, and don't know the keyboard controls. We also don't know what bottom pulls up the dog wheel.

Pretty sure you left a shotgun where you got the shield and spear.
You need to look EVERYWHERE…and not stress search, you miss lots of stuff that way.
